\nAs a Senior DevOps Engineer at Cloudbeds, your goal is to constantly improve and scale our SaaS platform to deliver an exceptional experience to our customers. You will be responsible for the creation, monitoring, automation, and support of services’ cloud infrastructure and pipelines while enabling and collaborating with product teams to efficiently deliver high-quality projects. You will have endless opportunities for architecture design and implementation within AWS cloud infrastructure in a largely bottom-up and healthy debate team culture. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help us in providing the highest quality full-stack management solution for hotels, B&B’s, hostels, and vacation rentals all over the world.\n\nLocation: REMOTE: Canada & USA (EST)\n\nWhat You Will Do:\n\n\n* Architect and improve Cloudbeds’ infrastructure in AWS.\n\n* Help build the Kubernetes platform.\n\n* Automate the platform with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.\n\n* Drive successful product and engineering projects to production.\n\n* Support software development processes via CI/CD pipelines.\n\n* Evolve system security, reliability, scalability, performance, and quality.\n\n* Support development teams with sharing DevOps best practices and expertise, assist in environment and application configuration from the infrastructure perspective.\n\n* On-call rotation support for the production environment outages. \n\n\n\n\nYou’ll Succeed With:\n\n\n* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n* 3+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer, working with AWS.\n\n* Exceptional skills in Linux system administration.\n\n* 2+ years of strong Experience in Kubernetes and Docker.\n\n* Experience implementing and scaling Elastic Kubernetes (EKS) platforms.\n\n* Strong Experience with application containerization methodologies and delivery.\n\n* Experience with infrastructure-as-code methodologies such as Terraform.\n\n* Experience with designing, building, and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions, Bitbucket pipelines, and ArgoCD/gitops).\n\n* Experience with web application servers (NGiNX, Ingress controllers, traffic load balancing), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora), cache technologies (any of Redis, Memcached), and queue technologies (SQS).\n\n* Ability to write Bash/Python scripts.\n\n* Good networking skills.\n\n* Good written and verbal communication in English.\n\n* Good team player qualities.\n\n* Ability to work remotely and manage your own time in a global team.\n\n\n\n\nNice to Haves:\n\n\n* Experience working in an Agile Scrum team with Jira.\n\n* Experience working in a PCI-compliant environment.\n\n\n\n\nCompensation: Depending on your skills and experience, you can expect your annual compensation to be up to $170,000.\n\n\n#LI-REMOTE #LI-AM1 \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
