\n \n \nCloud Chamber is looking for a Senior Pipeline Technical Animator to work closely with the animation and engineering teams to push the creative vision and technical boundaries. You have deep expertise developing tool sets used for content creation. You will design, develop, and maintain proprietary tools that enable our team to achieve their goals. You must demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of the cross-functional implications and effects on various teams and look to understand the whys of how something works and being able to clearly communicate the findings to others. You are motivated to learn, seek new wisdom, and take pride in mentoring others.\nJob Details:\n\n\n* Engage with stakeholders to align on objectives and develop scalable solutions that optimize content authoring workflows. \n\n* Architect and build user facing pipelines and tools in python for our DCC tools and Unreal.\n\n* Competently navigate content pipelines between DCC's when needed with tools.\n\n* Support team members encountering issues with tools, DCC Software, source control, and game engine.\n\n* Champion best programming practices by actively participating in code reviews, crafting clean and readable code, unit testing, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.\n\n\n\nSkills, Experience and Qualifications:\n\n\n* Solid knowledge of Maya Python API, including knowledge of the standard library, Qt toolkit (PySide, PyQt), and common 3rd Party Libraries and frameworks required. \n\n* Understanding of Unreal Animation Blueprint and Sequencer.\n\n* Understanding the importance of documenting workflows and sharing knowledge. \n\n* Proficiency in utilizing source control systems such as Perforce and Swarm to facilitate efficient code management and streamline the code review process.\n\n* Proficient in DCC tools and software with a keen understanding of their downstream implications\n\n* Experience with large code bases, legacy code bases, industry standard tool sets and workflows.\n\n\n\nNice-to-have:\n\n\n* Experience working with Unreal and Unreal Python API and/or C++\n\n* Previous experience in games development, preferably with at least 1 AAA title shipped.\n\n* Consistently demonstrated your proficiency in designing, constructing, and expanding intricate C++ systems, such as rigging or animation blueprints.\n\n\n\nWe are Cloud Chamber: a collaborative team of inspired minds who create games together. Below are the expected salary and wage ranges for applicants based in locations where the pay transparency law is in effect:\nColorado: $70,000 and $130,000 per year\nCalifornia: $90,000 and $165,000 per year\nNew York State (inclusive of New York City): $90,000 and $165,000 per year\nWashington: $70,000 and $130,000 per year\nBase pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
