\nMonad Labs is the team building Monad, the performant and parallel EVM Layer-1 blockchain. We are a team of systems engineers and community builders who are on a mission to help crypto eat the world. After recently raising $225M in series A funding, we are growing our team.\n\nThe Role\n\nWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with excellent knowledge of linux systems and significant experience building new automation for infrastructure and testing. You will be joining a small, talented team of systems experts to extend the testing and automation for a high-performance next-generation blockchain.\n\nOur team is headquartered in NoMad, Manhattan, NYC. This is for a hybrid (3 days/week in office) role. If you are remote, the preference is in Europe. \nRequirements\n\n\n* 5 years of experience in the DevOps/SRE/Linux Engineering space\n\n* Experience in setting up a devops environment and CI/CD platform (GitHub Actions or Jenkins) from scratch\n\n* Hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)\n\n* Proficiency in at least one back-end development language such as Python, Go, or C++\n\n* Proficiency with command-line git\n\n* Experience writing scripts for deploying and maintaining infrastructure (Linux installations, clusters, and networks)\n\n* Experience evaluating and improving observability and security practices\n\n* Experience with network setup and maintenance\n\n* Experience with virtualization technologies like Docker, Qemu, etc\n\n* Ability to write scripts and help with testing and automation\n\n\n\n\nBonuses:\n\n\n* Experience working at an early-stage startup\n\n* Experience running blockchain nodes\n\n\n\nWhat you’ll be doing\n\n\n* Building, testing, and deploying code across multiple cloud and hosted environments\n\n* Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux (Fedora/Ubuntu) installations\n\n* Building and maintaining test networks\n\n* Maintaining and improving our network infrastructure\n\n* Contributing to observability standards and security\n\n* Participating in on-call rotation for production support\n\n\n\nWhy work with us\n\n\n* Challenging problems.
