\nAt Forte, we are revolutionizing the Games Industry through Blockchain. ย Our end-to-end platform enables the emergence of community economics, a system where the interests of game developers and players are aligned, leading to healthier, sustainable game communities. We imagine an ecosystem that enables people globally to have property rights for digital goods, makes it easy for anyone in the world to create and join economic organizations and over time, build open systems with open protocols.\n\nOur team is composed of longtime industry members (Unity, ngmoco, N3TWORK, Riot, Electronic Arts, Sony, Rockstar, Lucas Arts, Google among others), and is currently working with 40+ acclaimed game developers from across the world to revolutionize the Games industry through the lens of blockchain. We recently raised $725M in our Series B, and are actively recruiting the worldโ€™s finest talent to join our fast-growing organization.\n\nWe are looking for a Director of Engineering with experience building enterprise tools and technologies utilized in large scale live service games. You will be responsible for defining the overall technical architecture at the product level and will lead that design across individual features. Obol Labs is hiring a
Remote Graphic Designer CSS Animation Specialist

Who Are We?\nObol Labs is a remote-first research and software development team focused on Proof of Stake infrastructure for public blockchain networks. Specific topics of focus are Internet Bonds, Distributed Validator Technology, and Multi-Operator Validation. The core team includes 14 members spread across 8 countries.\nThe core team is building the Obol Network, a protocol to foster trust-minimized staking through multi-operator validation. This will enable low-trust access to Ethereum staking yield, which can be used as a core building block in various Web3 products.\nThe Network\nThe network can be best visualized as a work layer that sits directly on top of the base layer consensus. This work layer is designed to provide the base layer with more resiliency and decentralization as it scales. In this chapter of Ethereum, we will move on to the next great scaling challenge, which is stake centralization. Layers like Obol are critical to the long-term viability and resiliency of public networks, especially networks like Ethereum.\nObol as a layer is focused on scaling main chain staking by providing permissionless access to Distributed Validators. The network utilizes a middleware implementation of Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), to enable the operation of distributed validator clusters that can preserve validators' current client and remote signing configurations.\nSimilar to how roll-up technology laid the foundation for L2 scaling implementations, we believe DVT will do the same for scaling the consensus layer while preserving decentralization. Staking infrastructure is entering its protocol phase of evolution, which must include trust-minimized staking networks that can be plugged into at scale. We believe DVT will evolve into a widely used primitive and will ensure the security, resiliency, and decentralization of public networks.\nThe Obol Network develops and maintains four core public goods that will eventually work together through circular economics:\n\nThe DV Launchpad, a User Interface for bootstrapping and managing Distributed Validators\n\n\nCharon, a middleware Golang client that enables validators to run in a fault-tolerant, distributed manner\n\n\nObol Managers, a set of solidity libraries for the formation of Distributed Validators tailored to different use cases such as DeFi, Liquid Staking, and Fractionalized Deposits \n\n\nObol Testnets, a set of ongoing public incentivized testnets that enable any sized operator to test their deployment before serving for the Ethereum Main net\n\nSustainable Public Goods\nObol is inspired by previous work on Ethereum public goods and experimenting with circular economics. We believe that to unlock innovation in staking use cases, a credibly neutral layer must exist for innovation to flow and evolve vertically. Without this layer, highly available uptime will continue to be a moat.\nThe Obol Network will become an open, community-governed, self-sustaining project over the coming months and years. Together we will incentivize, build, and maintain distributed validator technology that makes public networks a more secure and resilient foundation to build on top of.\nJob Description\nWe are looking for a creative and passionate Designer to polish and elevate the Obol brand through the graphic design of marketing materials and CSS animations.\nResponsibilities & Requirements\nYou will...- Design website, images, banners, animations, brochures, whitepapers, etc.- Create standards that ensure design consistency across all materials- Guide and elevate the Obol brand\nYou have... - Wide portfolio of designed marketing materials and animations- Experience working with design tools like Figma, Illustrator, etc.- The ability to take abstract concepts and turn them into polished designs\nWhat you will like about us\n\n\n\n* Developing open source public goods for permissionless networks\n\n* Solving groundbreaking problems in distributed cryptography and cryptoeconomics\n\n* Competitive compensation and benefits\n\n* Twice annual Global Off-sites\n\n* Annual opportunity to attend DevCon (or a blockchain conference of choice)\n\n* Opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading cryptography researchers and advisors\n\n* Opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading validators\n\n* Opportunity to collaborate with Ethereum core client teams\n\n\n๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ In order to scale efficiently, we focus our hiring on candidates able to work during the standard business hours of the following timezones: GMT-8 to GMT+3. Infura currently offers APIs for Ethereum, IPFS, and other leading decentralized networks, allowing developers to immediately begin building instead of spending time on architecting and maintaining their own infrastructure.\n\nInfura provides developers instant access to decentralized and blockchain networks without the need to sync or understand complicated peer to peer infrastructure. Similar to how one might access a cloud service to alleviate the friction of owning proprietary compute and storage, Infura lowers the barrier to entry for engineers to begin building.\n\nWe believe in a more equitable and decentralized future, and we know developers will be at the forefront of that progress. We want to empower developers to spend their time building, creating, and evolving by providing them with the best and easiest solution to their infrastructure needs.\n\nSome things to know about the Infura team, we are a remote first company, with team members all over the world. We strive to reduce meetings, respect work life balance, promote diversity, and generally be good people. We depend on each other not only to make an amazing product but to be a group that wants to succeed together. \n \n\nWhat youโ€™ll do\nIPFS and related decentralized storage solutions are a very exciting part of the web3 ecosystem. You will use your knowledge of Golang to design and implement backend services to support high volume access to IPFS services. You will be using your knowledge of system design to create new APIs, daemons, and web services that enable our customers to access decentralized storage at scale. You will collaborate with a team of senior engineers to build a key component of the decentralized world. \n \n\nWould be great if you brought this to the role\n\nYou bring deep experience with systems engineering. Ideally, you have architected numerous cloud based (AWS) systems using a performant language such as Golang to implement them. You have had significant experience with AWS, Linux, Docker, and RDMs such as Postgres. We work in a remote first environment, so strong communication and documentation skills as well as a proven ability to work within a remote team are highly desirable qualities. You have at least 4 years of experience with backend engineering and a bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent training / work experience).\n\nDon't meet all the requirements? Don't sweat it. Weโ€™re passionate about building a diverse team of humans and as such, if you think you've got what it takes for our remote-friendly, energetic start-up environmentโ€”apply anyway. While we have a pretty good idea of what we need, we're ready for you to challenge our thinking on who needs to be in this role. We are simply looking for amazing people who share in our vision for making great things with great people. \n\n\nConsenSys is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply. We are committed to ensuring that our technology is made available and accessible to everyone. All employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, genetic information, religion, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, marital status, family status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.\n\nConsenSys is aware of fraudulent recruitment practices and we encourage all applicants to review our best practices to protect yourself which can be found here.\n\n \n\n#LI-JL1\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, Web3, Ethereum, Travel, Cloud, Senior, Golang, Engineer, Backend and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n $65,000 — $120,000/year\n

Obol Labs is hiring a
Remote Senior Software Engineer Infrastructure

Together we will incentivize, build, and maintain distributed validator technology that makes public networks a more secure and resilient foundation to build on top of.\nJob Description\nThe Infrastructure team at Obol is looking for talented and experienced engineers to help us build and support our infrastructure. Join our growing organization and you will get a chance to be in the driving seat of innovation and change at Obol.\nAs an infrastructure Software Engineer, your primary role will be building, monitoring, and ensuring the reliability of our globally distributed infrastructure that powers Obolโ€™s network for thousands of DVT clusters. You will develop solutions, tools, and processes to increase developers' productivity and promote DevOps culture across the engineering teams while adhering to the industry security best practices and world-class quality measures.\nResponsibilities\n\n\n\n* Build an enterprise-grade software development lifecycle that grows with the Obol team\n\n* Automate blockchain infrastructure provisioning in cloud environments based on GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.\n\n* Drive a culture of automation, both within the team and throughout the organization, to scale Obolโ€™s efficiently and reliably\n\n* Build tools, processes, scripts, and CICD workflows (Github Actions) that help accelerate the engineering team so we can deliver better products faster.\n\n* Ensure Obolโ€™s cloud platform's high availability, reliability, security, and performance through implementing observability and SRE standards and building monitoring infrastructure with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and VictoriaMetrics.\n\n* Performing blameless post-mortems whenever thereโ€™s an unplanned outage.\n\n* Participate in technical discussions to aid system design, analysis, and troubleshooting\n\n* Assessment of current and future systems to ensure they adhere to security standards\n\n* Writing clear documentation around infrastructure code and development tooling so that itโ€™s easy to understand, use, and modify\n\n* Participate in the Ethereum ecosystem events from the DevOps side.\n\n\n\nWhat you will like about us\n\n\n\n* Building a world-class infrastructure that empowers a leading blockchain and Ethereum technology.\n\n* Solving groundbreaking problems in distributed cryptography and cryptoeconomics\n\n* Opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading cryptography researchers and advisors\n\n* Opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading validators\n\n* Opportunity to collaborate with Ethereum core client teams\n\n* Twice annual Global Off-sitesAnnual opportunity to attend DevCon (or a blockchain conference of choice)\n\n* Competitive compensation and benefits.\n\n\n๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ In order to scale efficiently, we focus our hiring on candidates able to work during the standard business hours of the following timezones: GMT-8 to GMT+3. This does not mean that you have to be located in these timezones to get the job but must be able to work the bulk of your time during their standard business hours. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Web3, Solidity, Ethereum, DevOps, Cloud, Senior, Golang and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $125,000/year\n \n\n#Location\nWorldwide
