\nAbout the role\n\nAs one of Hummingbird's first dedicated product leads, you will play a central role in our product efforts. You will be responsible for defining product initiatives, setting priorities, and ensuring that Hummingbird's platform is truly the best solution for investigating financial crime available. You will sit at the center of the Hummingbird team, collaborating with engineering, design, customer success, sales, marketing, and leadership to edit Hummingbird's product narrative and ensure it is coherently communicated to our customers. \n\nWe are a customer obsessed team, and we love brainstorming product solutions to challenges. As a product lead, you will guide these conversations and distill the team’s passion into clear, actionable product updates that drive clear value. \n\nWhat you'll do:\n\n\n* Help define, prioritize, and orchestrate our product roadmap and supporting initiatives in marketing, customer success, and sales.\n\n* Become an expert in the needs of compliance and risk professionals through research and empathy. Partner closely with customers on a regular basis to understand their needs and potential solutions.\n\n* Collaborate with Hummingbird designers to craft delightful experiences for compliance professionals at financial institutions globally.\n\n* Partner closely with our CEO, CTO and other Hummingbird leadership. This is a highly visible and cross-functionally collaborative role.\n\n\n\n\nAbout you! You… \n\n\n* Are deeply empathetic and care about the needs of customers. You have developed a sense of how technology can provide utility to highly-trained professionals.\n\n* Take ownership of products and initiatives that you lead. You have experience taking products from 0-1.\n\n* Strong ability to context switch across multiple products and projects.\n\n* Care almost obsessively about details, design, and product quality.\n\n* Articulate your thoughts clearly and coherently, and work to ensure a shared vision of product initiatives on your team.\n\n* Have experience as a product manager or product lead, specifically in the B2B SaaS space.\n\n* Bonus: have experience in financial compliance or anti-fraud practice areas, or exposure to this space with a strong interest in learning more!\n\n* Bonus: have experience with SQL and creating your own analytics and reports\n\n\n\n\nWhat’s in it for you:\n\n\nThe chance to help build from the ground up.
