Vizion is dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse team focused on fostering a culture of Communication, Innovation and High-Performance.\n \nHow You Fit In & the Details: \nAs a Senior Product Manager you will play a critical role in managing and growing our API products, ensuring API design meets customer needs, applying governance and guidelines, managing roadmaps and cultivating a developer experience that will delight our customers. You will be expected to implement effective inbound and outbound automation solutions, engage with Vizion partners and customers to understand their workflows, work with other PMs to build supporting APIs and deliver world class integrations for Vizion’s platform. In addition, this role will develop, lead, and scale a high-performing Product team that will support our product roadmap and customer’s needs. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and pain points and prioritize and sequence feature development and releases leading to significant and tangible business value. This role will work to turn ideas into real products that and have the proven ability to creatively lead the development and support of core systems that power mission critical business processes in shipping and logistics. \n \nThis role reports to the CTO and will partner and collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders in Vizion’s technology solution, but specifically with operations, customer experience, and engineering to ensure the delivery of innovative, high-performance API solutions to support our business operations and rapid growth.  In addition to the above, you will: \n \n●       Demonstrate clear understanding of how key personas and workflows map across major verticals\n●       Formulate and promote our API, automation, and workflow strategy to internal and external stakeholders\n●       Design specifications and prioritize requirements to develop highly leveraged APIs needed for building the automation solution\n●       Collaborate with engineering to build key automation & integration workflows\n●       Deeply understand the developer persona and ensure API products are easy to implement, well documented and designed to our high standards through a developer platform\n●       Deep engagement and consultation with various business teams to understand current and future needs for product enhancements\n●       Understand the customer, market, and technology drivers for Vizion’s business\n●       Propose innovative solutions based on API products to introduce, enhance, and automate key processes and use cases\n●       Develop supporting product plans and requirements by gathering feedback, collaborating with key planning stakeholders, including leadership, writing requirements documents, and managing the feature backlog\n●       Develop API product and enhancement roadmap for short and long-range product plans based on customer feedback\n●       Champion the product's roadmap with key stakeholders and engineering teams\n●       Partner with marketing and sales team to support, design, and influence partner integration flows on the front end and back end\n●       Manage internal and external resources to ensure completion of projects\n●       Drive a culture of measurement and continuous improvement for both business and customer value delivered, develop KPIs, and monitor progress continuously, actively reporting on milestones and deliverables\n●       Own all API documentation UX including documents for developer support, security, sales, sales training, marketing (with support from engineering and partner relations)\n●       Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure the successful delivery of fully operational products and deliver accompanying user documentation and training\n●       Track product performance and use to inform product management.\n \nBasic Qualifications:\n●       7+ years of product management experience with a minimum of 5 years of API product management experience. \n●       Experience building APIs for SaaS products and evolving those products into platforms\n●       Experience building integrations into CRMs like HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Zendesk and other integration platforms\n●       Experience creating technical product and design documents\n●       Prior startup experience highly desired\n●       Demonstrated hands-on experience and subject matter expertise in configuring and managing the end-to-end product vision and strategy\n●       Crystallize vague concepts into concise tactical plans \n●       Understanding that speed is everything but prioritizing the right thing is equally important - you appreciate delivering impact quickly\n●       Be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment\n●       Comprehensive and deep command of the product management function\n●       Strong collaboration, coordination, organizational and communication (written and spoken) skills with demonstrated experience across multiple products and/or projects\n●       Background in software development and project/program management is a plus\n●       Familiarity with Agile framework is preferred\n●       Preferred Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\n \nPerks & Benefits: \n●       We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. You should have a deep technical and remote experience with answering tickets, troubleshooting issues with data collection and API functionality, and continuing to provide white glove support to all Vizion clients. To be successful in this role, you will quickly develop an in-depth understanding of our product as well as the shipping industry in general. In addition to supporting the other members of the CX team and our customers, you will be working on projects to help improve our internal processes as well as our front-facing product and documentation. \n \nThis role will report to our Senior Manager, Customer Success and will partner with internal stakeholders including Account Executives, Customer Success, and Engineers.  In addition to the above, you will: \n \n●       Provide platform-based Tier 3 technical API support through use of video, email, and trouble tickets. Be the face of Vizion to your portfolio of customers\n●       Assist the rest of the Customer Experience department with the onboarding of new customers onto the Vizion API platform as the technical resource during onboarding video calls\n●       Provide platform support in a timely manner by answering customer inquiries, both technical and non, via: video, email, and trouble ticket; keeping ownership of cases until resolution while engaging other teams as needed\n●       Collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams to drive better results and to surface the most pressing customer issues in a data-driven manner\n●       Document all communication with customers and accounts accurately and in a timely manner via internal system tools\n●       Document and contribute to improving our internal processes, systems, and customer interactions\n●       Help improve our customer-facing documentation and guides\n●       Proactive insights into potential customer issues that may arise before the customer is aware of it\n \nBasic Qualifications:\n●       3+ years of experience using, implementing and supporting API’s (or API first products)\n●       Intermediate-to-advanced technical knowledge (of APIs and their use, specifically), and data analysis skills is strongly preferred\n●       8+ years of experience in a similar Technical Customer Support role\n●       Strong level of experience with JavaScript and Node.js (we use TypeScript)\n●       Experience in the Shipping / Logistics / Freight Industry a plus\n●       A strong and stable internet connection and a quiet place to hold phone and video calls\n●       A sense of humility. This job is unique with a lot to learn!
