Join us, and help build the shipping infrastructure of the future.\n\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:\n\n\no Design, develop, and maintain software applications for use within Logistics. \no Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.\no Maintain high standards of code quality and integrity. \no Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in software development.\no Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Work on complex problems, analyze situations, and apply problem-solving skills.\no Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and product managers. Contribute to team meetings and offer innovative ideas and solutions.\no Assist in project planning and adhere to timelines. Report progress and challenges to the management team.\no Provide second-level contact to customer inquiries, requests, and technical issues via various communication channels to convey resolutions to customer issues.\no Where required, demonstrate the software to stakeholders and customers.\no Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.\no Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to products, software, or services.\no Utilize problem-solving skills to analyze and identify root causes of problems and provide solutions or workarounds.\no Collaborate with other technical teams and engineers to escalate and resolve complex issues and deliver effective solutions.\no Handle escalations from Tier 2 Support Team.\no Be a strong collaborator, a part of a small team, that touches every part of the company.\n\n\nMinimum Education & Experience Qualifications:\n\n\no 5+ years of related experience.\no Technically inclined and enjoy wearing a lot of hats.\no A capable quantitative thinker who learns quickly.\no Strongly proficient in at least one programming language (C++,C#, Delphi, Java or similar)\no Experience with database technologies (SQL)Experience with standard API’s such as REST, SOAP and JSON, XMLKnowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus\no A second language is a plus\n\n\n\n\n\n$127,000 - $167,000 a yearThe posted salary range represents the base compensation for this role.
