They will partner with our internal teams to evaluate and determine compliance in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.  \n\n\n\nHow you'll add value: \n* Research payroll tax compliance and setup issues raised by external and internal stakeholders while providing guidance for resolution. \n* Proactively track potential payroll tax regulatory changes at federal, state, and local level  \n* Find and propose solutions to payroll tax compliance and setup issues, recommend system enhancements, and assist in the development, testing, and implementation of the proposed solutions. \n* Research, evaluate, recommend, and summarize payroll compliance implications of new employee programs and/or labor agreements. \n* Create, update, and maintain a central repository of payroll compliance narratives and records. \n* Partner with third party vendors and developers to resolve payroll tax issues \n* Other duties as assigned. \n\n\n\nWhat you'll need to be successful in this role: \n* 5+years of tax & payroll compliance analysis or related experience; or advanced degree and equivalent work experience \n* Demonstrated working knowledge of U.S. local, state, and federal payroll tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure product and services are compliant. \n* CPP/EA preferred \n* Excellent written/verbal communication skills \n* Attention to detail and strong organizational and work prioritization skills. \n* Knowledge and experience in the SaaS / Software industry preferred, but not required. \n* Advanced demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel and tax and payroll systems and how they operate. \n* Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use upmost discretion when accessing sensitive information. \n* Previously demonstrated experience in assessing and mitigating risk related to payroll tax compliance \n\n\n\nR365 Team Member Benefits & Compensation\n* This position has a salary range of $78K-$90K. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
