We strive to collaborate with operators to influence the company’s strategy and operations, not just “keep score.” As a fast-growing startup, you’ll enter a dynamic finance environment that’s always got something new happening, unique challenges to think through, and professional growth opportunities.\n\nThe Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) sub-function handles all facets of our strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. You’ll partner heavily with and build close relationships with our growth and operations teams. \n\nThe FP&A Analyst will work closely with our Finance Manager to conduct analysis on the company’s growth drivers, develop and maintain our financial models, and produce financial reports with commentary. \nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Build, refine, and prepare monthly financial performance reports, including monthly variance analysis with commentary. \n\n* Partner with our growth team to define and monitor KPI’s for the company’s revenue drivers.\n\n* Build and own financial models for direct merchant acquisition.\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n\n* 2-5 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or a closely related function. \n\n* Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred\n\n* Experience with complex financial models, forecasting techniques, and data analysis\n\n* Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets. \n\n* Exceptional problem solving skills, and hands-on experience building financial models from the ground up strongly preferred.\n\n* Strong partnership skills and an ability to work cross-functionally required. \n\n* Self-directed and self-motived with an ability to work independently and handle ambiguity is essential.\n\n* “Customer service” mindset and an avid team player who delights in helping others.\n\n\n\nBonus points\n\n\n* Familiarity with loan portfolio modeling and structured finance arrangements. \n\n* Experience in venture-backed or similar high-growth environments preferred.\n\n* SQL coding very strongly preferred and other programming abilities (Python, VBA) helpful\n\n* Experience with data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau) a plus\n\n\n\nInterview Process\n\n\n* Application Review\n\n* Recruiter Screen\n\n* Hiring Manager Screen\n\n* Virtual Onsite:\n\n\n\n* Interview I \n\n* Interview II  \n\n* Interview III \n\n\n\n* Final Technical Interview\n\n* References\n\n* Offer\n\n\n\n\nThe range of base salary for the position is between $70,800 - $99,100 plus equity, and benefits.
