\nClickHouse is focused on growing a vibrant user community and becoming a cloud-first company. We are looking for a seasoned Account Executive to help build out our user and customer community. This is an exciting opportunity to join right after the GA of our serverless Cloud product and help us form a vision for that in the market. Our ideal candidate is a technical professional capable of offering customers specialized business and technical expertise. This role involves providing expert guidance to help clients achieve their objectives and better understand how they utilize ClickHouse.\n\nWhat you will be doing:\n\n\nIdentify and nurture opportunities, build and foster pipeline, close short-term Cloud monthly contracts, and build a strategic Enterprise business with complex sales cycles in parallel. \n\nArticulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of the company and products and secure strategic commercial commitments.\n\nUse a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers.\n\nPromote the innovation happening around ClickHouse that is powering the ClickHouse Cloud.\n\nTrack customer details, including use cases, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce.\n\nAccurately forecast business on a monthly cadence.\n\nContribute to the user and developer community in the region by engaging in affinity meetups but also driving ClickHouse specific meetups.\n\n\n\n\nWhat you bring along:\n\n\nProactively and efficiently manage resources with dedicated teams, virtual teams, and executive staff around sales opportunities to ensure successful outcomes\n\nAlign the ClickHouseโs Cloud solution to the customerโs business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.\n\nFluent in German. \n\n5+ years of experience with open-source software business models is preferred, and proficiency in cloud and infrastructure software is a minimum requirement. \n\nPassion for building long-lasting customer relationships and working cross-functionally within a diverse team to deliver outstanding results.\n\nStrong business acumen and technology focus with outstanding communication both written and oral, negotiation and presentation skills.\n\n\n\n\nBonus Points for:\n\n\nEntrepreneurial spirit with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments.\n\nExperience effectively working remotely in a global, distributed organization. \n\n* Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers\n\n\n\n\n#LI-Remote \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
