Remote Senior Manager of Parcel Operations
\nPosition Overview: \n\nReporting directly to the Director of Parcel, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our parcel operations, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. The successful candidate will bring their expertise in operations, capacity planning, and operational improvements to the table, while also showcasing their support skills in new internal and external and issue resolution.\n\nKey Attributes:\n\n\n* Operational Experience and Outbound experience \n\n* Transportation Planning \n\n* Domestic and International Parcel shipping\n\n* Hazmat requirements and compliance\n\n* Creation and implementation of Programs and SOPs (Internal & Vendor based)\n\n* Expertise in assimilation of data in spreadsheets and presentation of Executive-level insights\n\n* Project- and Program Management\n\n* Effective communication at varying levels \n\n* High degree of ownership \n\n\n\n\nWhat You'll Bring: \n\n\n* Proven experience in parcel management, including a comprehensive understanding of fulfillment center operations, international shipping, and industry best practices. \n\n* Proficiency in domestic and international shipping processes and regulations to ensure seamless operations. \n\n* Knowledge and hands-on experience in managing outbound operations within the parcel industry. \n\n* Experience with MS Excel and Visual Basic for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making purposes.\n\n\n\n* Experience with data reporting tools (DOMO/Tableau) \n\n\n\n* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration and convey complex ideas clearly. \n\n* Strong critical thinking abilities with a track record of effectively solving analytical problems using a data-driven approach. \n\n* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, ensuring successful outcomes within defined timelines. \n\n* A proactive and results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.\n\n\n\n\n#LI-Remote \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
