Remote Lead Technical Consultant
\n\n\nWhat is the Opportunity? \n\nReporting to the Senior Product Architect, the Technical lead will provide solutions to technical issues, and will be responsible for meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements. \n\nWhat will you do?\n\n\n* Thoroughly understand the requirements and design\n\n* Collaborate with internal teams on various deliverables\n\n* Understand High Level Design and prepare the Low-level design (the Integration / Interface modules) for the module assigned\n\n* Code reviews and other project documents developed by juniors / peers\n\n* Collaborate & work closely with Product teams, Project Managers, Architects, Software Engineers, Business Analysts & QA teams in different locations\n\n* Review and report the status of development & proactively address issues/challenges which might impact the timelines\n\n* Embed & enforce quality and standards with Development team\n\n* Continually improve quality of delivery and capability by building and growing a high-performance team\n\n* Review and report the deliverables to manager\n\n* Contribute to company’s KB and Process improvements\n\n* Adhere to company core standards & guidelines\n\n* Assign accurate & detailed tasks regularly to the team\n\n* Conduct model level effort estimation and integrate for complete application\n\n* Performance Engineering, Tuning, and architecting scalable\n\n\n\n\nWhat do you need to succeed?\n\n\n* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related field \n\n* Minimum 8 years of work experience, along with equivalent lead experience\n\n* Strong database and query building knowledge across multiple databases \n\n* Knowledge on Application Servers like JBoss / Websphere / Weblogic. \n\n* Domain knowledge of banking and financial institutions and/or large enterprise IT environment will be a strong asset\n\n* Proficient in core development tools\n\n* 8+ years of experience with enterprise software development \n\n* Product implementation experience \n\n* Experience with enterprise software development in JAVA, J2EE, Spring, Kafka and Hibernate Frameworks, Web Services, MQ and REST-based APIs \n\n* Strong experience in multi-threaded server-side Java programming \n\n* Proven experience in the use of Eclipse, Maven, Sonar, JUnit tools\n\n* Experience working with agile methodologies\n\n* JBuilder / Java / Servlets / EJB \n\n* HTML / DHTML/ Java Script/XML/CSS \n\n* J2EE / WebLogic/ WebSphere/Spring/Hibernate/Struts/Report framework \n\n* MS SQL, Oracle, DB 2, OOAD, UML\n\n* Ability to work in remote and/or office setting \n\n* Fast paced environment with tight deadlines \n\n* Support offshore hours / time zones \n\n* Flexibility with working hours based on team and client needs \n\n\n\n\nNice to have:\n\n\n* Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills\n\n* Strong interpersonal skills and can foster team collaboration\n\n* Out of the box thinking approach ability to conceptualize and articulate new approaches and solutions \n\n* Ability to collaborate and communicate to achieve positive outcomes \n\n* Detail-oriented and strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines\n\n* Aptitude to solve problems\n\n* Ability to conceptualize and articulate new approaches and solutions in analysis at all levels of organization\n\n* Pro-active and has a strong desire to learn\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
