\nPlease Note: This is a remote position available in the state listed on this job.\n\nEssential Job Duties\n\nAs a Senior AI/ML Engineer, your growing skills are at the intersection of software engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. You’ll contribute to data-centric backend services, thoughtful abstractions and APIs, and interactive experiences such as conversational agents and interpretive tools.Code data-intensive software and algorithms\n\n\n* Build platforms for driving intelligent decisions, interacting with machine learning models, and powering interactions such as conversational interfaces\n\n* Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, software engineers, IT specialists, and stakeholders to expand effective use of AI applications\n\n* Research and prove out new approaches and algorithms through prototypes\n\n* Ensure high quality system delivery and continually improve workflows and methods\n\n\n\n\nWhat You Need to Get the Job Done\n\n\n* 5+ years of professional experience building data-centric software, as a machine learning engineer, AI specialist, software-focused data scientist, or similar\n\n* Track record as an engineer building for production, ideally with machine learning algorithms (typically Python), logic and platform services (especially in functional languages such as Clojure), and intelligent systems at scale\n\n* Demonstrated ability to interface data repositories / caches / pipelines, message queues, ML models, LLMs, and other services in cloud environments, especially AWS\n\n* Expertise with LLMs, prompt engineering, agent building, and vector databases\n\n* Skill collaborating using cloud-based tooling, git, notebook systems, and ML workflows\n\n\n\n\nA strong contender will also demonstrate abilities to:\n\n\n* Create strong technical designs with higher-order logic and clean data structures\n\n* deptly use algorithms and approaches in AI, machine learning, and NLP\n\n* Research and evaluate emerging tools and technologies\n\n* Improve workflows and MLOps\n\n* Have productive interactions that lift the team and stakeholders\n\n\n\n\nBeyond the technical skills, we’re looking for individuals who are:\n\n\n* Clear communicators (verbal and written)\n\n* Able to synthesize patterns and useful abstractions\n\n* Conversant in underlying data structures, math, and algorithms\n\n* Creative in finding relevant and novel approaches\n\n* Productive in a dynamic setting\n\n* If you love to learn, you’ll be in good company.
