What youโll do:\n\n\n* As a Senior Manager, youโll be responsible for our core product offerings in accounts, payments and cohesion. Youโll further our mission of delivering brand-specific consumer experiences, building cohesive user journeys within a product family, partnering across Product, Engineering and other business partners, and working with Design team members directing rapid visual concepts and producing high fidelity visual design. We are a multi-disciplinary design team where youโll have the opportunity to collaborate with many design groups and specialties to create innovative products that people love to use\n\n* Manage in a true 0-to-1 product environment. Ideate, create, grow, and ship products at scale for sports fans\n\n* Provide day-to-day design leadership that builds a shared understanding of the complete user-centric intersection of design, content, technology and business.\n\n* Be a design activator, working to deliver a vision and strategy that balances revolutionary projects along with a plan for innovative, iterative updates to realize a more extensive vision\n\n* Partner with a variety of teams, inspiring confidence that your team will deliver compelling user experiences that are informed, cohesive, and inclusive.\n\n* Lead a team of product designers with various expertise, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster their growth and development\n\n* Drive the end-to-end design process, from concept ideation and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and user testing, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across all platforms\n\n* Advocate for the needs and preferences of our diverse user base data-driven insights to inform design decisions\n\n* Effectively communicate design concepts, rationale, and trade-offs to stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.\n\n\n\nWho you are:\n\n\n* 10+ years of Product Design/Creative experience, including 5+ years of management experience leading and inspiring teams of designers\n\n* Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects demonstrating your design process, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills\n\n* Experience resource-planning and staffing projects and groups based on the available skills to deliver excellent design solutions on time\n\n* Possesses a broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories, and practices of design leadership\n\n* Experience identifying and setting platform strategies, envisioning complex user interactions, and inspiring teams to push the boundaries of whatโs possible\n\n* Can communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization\n\n* Passionate about sports, Underdogโs mission, and products\n\n\n\nEven better if you have:\n\n\n* Experience in visual design and/or art direction\n\n* Experience in fantasy sports and/or sports betting\n\n\n\n\n\nOur target starting base salary range for this position is between $216,000 and $250,000, plus target equity.
