The team leads curricular planning and investment management for each program/product as well as data-driven evaluation and continuous improvement efforts providing strategic direction and support for the partner, the program and the curriculum/product, in alignment with 2U business priorities and target investment. Through 2Uโs vendor, our team serves as a main point of contact to briefing in work, acting as the business advocate for production, and resolving course development escalations. \n\nThe Senior Curriculum Management Lead will drive consistency and implementation of best practices across the internal Curriculum Management teams. They will serve as the Curriculum Management expert and point of contact for 2U Central Operations, finance, course development, vendor functions in process improvements, financial management, risk assessment, data integrity efforts, workload distribution, and other strategic initiatives.\n\nThe Senior Curriculum Management Lead drives internal team operations and communications. Leveraging their in-depth knowledge of the team and partner needs, they develop and maintain internal team resources, and external-facing presentations and materials. \n\nThe Senior Curriculum Management Lead is experienced and highly skilled in partner-facing work and assumes responsibility for external-facing assignments, as directed in order to meet business needs. \n\nTo contribute successfully, the Senior Curriculum Management Lead will adapt to shifting priorities, thrive in an atmosphere of continuous change while focusing on exceeding goals and objectives with a high level of independence and with clear, consistent and reliable communication across stakeholders and teams. They will need to be a results-oriented, driven professional with fine-tuned analytical skills, and superior attention to detail. \nResponsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:\n\nThe Senior Curriculum Management Leadโs role is designed to be flexible; the breakdown of work will be adjusted to meet business priorities, as needed, and at the Senior Directorโs discretion.\n\nTeam Operations & Process Improvement:\n\n\n* Serve as liaison and Curriculum Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to 2U Central Operations and Finance team contacts for ongoing financial management priorities and strategic projects. Identify gaps and opportunities for scalable process improvements and communication efficiencies.\n\n* Drive consistent implementation of investment management best practices and adherence to established escalation paths through team communications and resources.\n\n* Oversee internal program and course data inputs and maintenance to ensure accuracy and in accordance with direction from Investment Management. \n\n* Collaborate with 2U Central Operations to support standardization and ensure data, reporting, templates provided meet Curriculum Management and partners needs. \n\n* Team meeting management; prioritization and ownership of agendas, and follow-up action items, in collaboration with Curriculum Management leadership.\n\n* Identify common themes arising from teams; share resources, solutions, and/or escalate for consideration and further action.\n\n* Support Portfolio Directorโs team management; workload distribution and resource planning. \n\n* Evaluate and triage requests for Curriculum Management support.\n\n\n\n\nPartner Support & External Assignments:\n\n\n* Support Curriculum Management Portfolio Director in partner work, including external-facing meetings, presentations, and strategic initiatives.\n\n* Cover Curriculum Management Director leave and/or program transitions; manage programs assuming responsibilities of Director and/or Lead for the assigned period. \n\n* Collaborate with 2U Program Directors on matrixed managed partners and engage in partner conversations when appropriate\n\n\n\n\nExternal & Internal Communications:\n\n\n* Ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to evolving best practices through creation and maintenance of team resources. \n\n* Centralize communication; capture and record key events, decisions, and outcomes in departmental knowledge management system\n\n* Develop, organize, and maintain internal team process documentation.\n\n* With Curriculum Management and partner work expertise, develop and maintain a repository of external-facing resources. \n\n* Ownership of onboarding and training materials for all roles; ensure resources are maintained and updated, as needed.\n\n* Collaborate and align with the corporate external communications team.\n\n\n\nThings That Should Be In Your Background:\n\n\n* Bachelorโs degree required\n\n* 5+ years of experience, including demonstrated success in client-facing account management, operations, and/or project management\n\n* 1+ year experience with demonstrated success working independently with partners and stakeholders, and driving project work to successful completion\n\n* Experience developing or leading online learning initiatives in a business and/or academic setting \n\n* Excellence in spoken and written communications, especially customer-facing presentation skills\n\n* Ability to drive performance and accountability without positional authority\n\n* Demonstrated excellence in driving solutions and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly-evolving environment\n\n* Strong negotiator who can balance and prioritize partner requirements against budgetary and functional constraints\n\n* Familiarity with forecasting and budget management\n\n* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with superior attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving success\n\n* Technical competency in GSuite, demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and/or systems \n\n\n\nOther Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:\n\n\n* Advanced degree or related course work, or equivalent professional experience\n\n* Experience working directly with academic administration and/or leadership (e.g. Program Directors, Associate Deans, Deans)\n\n* Product management or development responsibility for digital products or services. defining, communicating, and driving fulfillment of product requirements\n\n* Familiarity with learning design, online learning platforms and technologies, and development of digital content\n\n* Experience in managing P&L and budgets\n\n\n\n\nBenefits & Culture\nOur global employee base is a diverse collection of innovators, dreamers, and doers working together to transform lives through higher education.
