We want to move fast, use cutting-edge technologies, and deliver value to our customers.  A foundational element of that is to be able to meaningfully observe, cleanse, conform, and enrich data that is sourced from diverse systems, spans international borders, evolves over time, and needs to stand up to customer scrutiny.\n\n\nThe Impact You Will Have\n\n\nAs a Senior Business Data Analyst, you will help us zero in on this moving target by defining, visualizing, and refining metrics that quantify product and customer success. You will work closely with our team of product leaders and engineers to identify material trends in our business and operational data to help us focus on the correct priorities. You will help us harness the power of Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, and Large Language Model systems without sacrificing control, traceability, and standards of excellence that our customers demand. Quite simply, you will help us instill the rigour and data-first focus that is essential to deliver a first-in-class Supplier Data Platform that will transform the procurement and supplier management processes for our customers!\n\n\n\n\n\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities\n* Write code to extract, refine, and gain insights from large data sets\n* Define KPIs and reporting, review, and refinement processes to track success against them\n* Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and other reporting tools to track data quality\n* Create engineering requirements based on data analysis\n* Analyze and quantify the quality of potential data sources\n* Create and streamline processes for the manual review of sample data\n\n\n\nWhat Are We Looking For?\n* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field of study, such as Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, or Data Science\n* 3-5 years experience in data aggregation, analysis, and visualization\n* Strong communication and organizational skills and a self-starter mentality, all of which are essential to the remote office environment\n* SQL experience and experience with other programming tools associated with data analytics, such as Jupyter, R, and Python\n* Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and formulae\n\n\nNice to haves:\n* Experience with visualization tools, such as Tableau\n* Experience with non-relational data stores and JSON document processing\n* Conversational knowledge of NLP, Deep Learning, and/or LLM technologies\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout TealBook \nTealBook is a big data company that offers an unparalleled Supplier Data Foundation, Supplier Intelligence Platform, and Universal Supplier Gateway.
