This is a role with a broad remit, where your expertise with distribute systems and compute scale will go hand in hand with your passion for efficient databases and deep love of crafting high-performance server-side applications, As our server engineer, you will have meaningful impact on our games' ability to bring world-leading experiences to our players.\nWho Will Be A Great Fit:\n\n\n* Proven experience writing server backend code\n\n* Proficient in C++ and understanding of object-oriented programming\n\n* Proficient in Python, PHP, Perl, or Ruby, with an emphasis on Python\n\n* Understanding of distributed and scalable systems\n\n* Experience with multithreaded programming\n\n* BSCS or equivalent experience.\n\n* Experience writing code for security and virtual currency transactions a plus\n\n* Experience optimizing database connections and queries a plus\n\n* Experience with online gaming architecture a plus\n\n* Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or other\n\n* Videogame console development experience is quite helpful\n\n* Love for video games (not just ours!)\n\n\n\n\nThis is a fully remote role that may be based anywhere in the U \n\n#Location\nNovato, CA
