In addition to a strong commercial background, this role requires a solid understanding of open source licensing and compliance to ensure that our company operates in accordance with industry best practices. We are looking for someone who wants to work at an early-stage company, and is excited by the opportunity to truly roll up their sleeves.\n\nWhat youโll do:\n\n\n* Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including customer agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, license agreements, and partnership agreements, and ensure that all commercial agreements adequately protect the companyโs interests, improve processes, and increase scalability. \n\n* Manage and be responsible for the Companyโs contract lifecycle management tool\n\n* Ensure contracts align with open source licensing requirements when applicable.\n\n* Assess and advise on open source software licenses, ensuring compliance with their terms.\n\n* Manage agreements and business activities to comply with company policies and risk tolerance.\n\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that legal and business objectives are aligned and met.\n\n* Provide general legal support to the legal department and the business on an as-needed basis. \n\n\n\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n\n\n* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.\n\n* 3-5+ years of commercial legal experience in-house, with a particular focus on technology\n\n* Strong experience in drafting, negotiation, and managing professional services agreements, software as a service agreements, and business agreements\n\n* Experience working with technology companies, especially in the cybersecurity sectors is a plus.\n\n* Ability to manage several simultaneous projects under deadline pressure\n\n* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\n* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\n* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\n\n* Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices is a plus.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
