\nLocation: Multiple Locations \nRequired Clearance: Public Trust\nCertifications: None\nRequired Education: High School/GED\nRequired Experience: 1-2 years experienced in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.\n\n\nPosition Description\n\n\nPingWind is seeking Logistics Analyst I to support the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials, products, and supplies within an organization or across its supply chain. This entry-level role involves analyzing data to optimize logistics processes, monitoring shipments, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.\n\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n\n\nTypical Responsibilities/Tasks:\n• Track and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.\n• Coordinate with transportation providers, warehouses, and internal departments to resolve delays or discrepancies.\n• Assist in managing inventory levels, replenishment, and order fulfillment processes.\n• Maintain shipment and inventory records using logistics or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).\n• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports related to shipments, delivery times, and costs.\n• Support the development of KPIs and dashboards to measure logistics performance.\n• Communicate with carriers and vendors to confirm schedules, resolve delivery issues, and verify billing accuracy.\n• Assist in evaluating carrier performance and cost efficiency.\n•S upport logistics contracts and rate negotiations under supervision.\n• Identify areas for improvement within logistics operations and propose practical solutions.\n• Maintain accurate import/export documentation and assist with customs clearance when applicable.\n\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n\n• High School/GED\n• 1-2 years experienced in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.\n\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\n\n• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.\n• Military Experience Preferred\n\n\nAbout PingWind\n\n\nPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
