This role will be instrumental in supporting our legal operations, with a focus on compliance, contract management, and providing legal coverage for our Northern Hemisphere team.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* Manage Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the crypto industry\n\n* Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), service agreements, and commercial contracts\n\n* Provide legal support and coverage for our Northern Hemisphere team, addressing time-sensitive matters across different time zones\n\n* Provide advice on crypto-related regulations and emerging legal issues in the digital asset space\n\n* Assist in developing and implementing internal legal policies and procedures\n\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and technology, to address legal concerns and mitigate risks\n\n* Monitor and analyse regulatory developments in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry\n\n* Support the company's compliance efforts with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations\n\n\n\n \n\nOur ideal candidate will have:\n\n\n* Law degree from a reputable institution\n\n* 2-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably gained in a multi-national organisation, trading, or financial services sectors\n\n* Experience with KYC/KYB processes and compliance requirements in the financial services industry\n\n* Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills\n\n* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities\n\n* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\n* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal\n\n* Good initiative and personal resilience to manage the ups and downs of fast paced deal teams\n\n* Flexibility to occasionally work non-standard hours to provide coverage for the Northern Hemisphere team\n\n* Understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and the regulatory landscape surrounding cryptocurrencies is highly desirable\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Offer in return:\n\n\n* Opportunity to work at the forefront of the digital asset industry\n\n* Remote work flexibility\n\n* Collaborative and innovative work environment\n\n* Autonomy and a flat structure means you can contribute your ideas from day one and help shape the legal landscape which will power our future business. \n\n\n\n\nAt Auros, we value nimbleness, drive for success, owner mentality, and collaboration.
