\nTenstorrent is growing and we are looking for an IT Systems & Support Administrator for our Bangalore office. You will be our Bangalore IT Lead to support daily activities and work on cross site projects.\n\nThis role is on-site based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.\n\n \n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* Deployment, maintenance, support and monitoring of our infrastructure in the Bangalore office\n\n* Act as sole onsite IT presence, therefore support and troubleshoot local technical issues from laptops to AV equipment\n\n* Administration (of local and in part) of entire network- wide CentOS and Ubuntu Linux systems; systems security tasks including security scanning, patching and systems hardening\n\n* Configure, add and maintain laptop, server, and network inventory including: firewall, Switches, and WiFi access points\n\n* Partner with teammates ship across sites on various IT projects\n\n* Onboarding of new employees at the Bangalore office by deploying necessary hardware and provisioning accounts\n\n* Other task and duties as determined from time to time\n\n* This role will have a physical as well as remote administration and support aspects\n\n\n\n\n \n\nExperience & Qualifications:\n\n\n* Degree/diploma in Computer Science or demonstrated combination of education and experience\n\n* 2+ years of Systems Administration experience in a small to mid-size company using Linux (CentOS/Redhat/Ubuntu)\n\n* Linux+ certification\n\n* 2+ years of installation and maintenance of enterprise level hardware, small deployments count provided its standard equipment\n\n* 1+ years of experience with Network management, both physical infrastructure cabling and switches/firewall\n\n* Experience with Veeam Back-ups or similar tools, managing backup & restoration implementation and testing\n\n* Proficient with SNMP/Nagios/Managed Engine based Monitoring, ElasticSearch, Jamf and Grafana\n\n* Worked with firewalls (Fortinet) and Linux based firewall (IPTABLES/IPCHAINS)\n\n* Strong documentation abilities necessary to ensure timely problem resolution\n\n* Experience with container orchestration systems (such as Kubernetes, Docker, Amazon ECS, EKS, Rancher)\n\n* Skilled at managing cloud-based environments in AWS and Azure\n\n* Proven ability to work autonomously with limited direction and oversight\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\n* Network Administration with CCNA certification\n\n* Administration experience with Office 365, and Google Workspace\n\n* Strong technical problem-solving skills and experience in IP networking and static routing FTP, SSH, SMTP, DNS, HTTP/S, DHCP\n\n* Python and other scripting languages such as bash, Ruby etc\n\n* Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP including the usage of stateful and stateless firewalls, access control lists, packet capture and logging, network design, Subnetting, IP routing, IPSEC virtual private networks, and intrusion detection and prevention\n\n* Experience with automation/configuration management tools using Ansible, Chef or an equivalent\n\n* Mac support and experience with Jamf is preferable\n\n\n\n\nTenstorrent offers a highly competitive compensation package and benefits, and we are an equal opportunity employer.\n\nDue to U.S. Export Control laws and regulations, Tenstorrent is required to ensure compliance with licensing regulations when transferring technology to nationals of certain countries that have been licensing conditions set  by the U.S. government.\n\nAs this position will have direct and/or indirect access to information, systems, or technologies that are subject to U.S. Export Control laws and regulations, please note that citizenship/permanent residency, asylee and refugee information and supporting documentation will be required and considered as a condition of employment.\n\nIf a U.S. export license is required, employment will not begin until a license with acceptable conditions is granted by the U.S. government.  If a U.S. export license with acceptable conditions is not granted by the U.S. government, then the offer of employment will be rescinded. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Education, Ruby and Linux jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $90,000/year\n
