We are headquartered in London, with offices in Lagos, Nairobi and Washington D.C.\n\nAbout the role\n\nLocation: Semi remote (Full time)\n\nWe are looking for a Finance Business Partner to manage the financial information of a specific business unit and work with the relevant business leaders to maximise the performance of the business. The ideal candidate will possess the required skills and experience and a very strong attention to detail.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\n\nPrepare management accounts and related KPI documentation for your business unit, including monthly profit & loss account with analysis and commentary, balance sheet extracts and reconciliations.\n\nContinually review, maintain, and improve processes, cash collection, purchase orders and ledger postings against budget/forecasts.\n\nIdentify and resolve any areas of financial weakness within the business unit in a timely manner.\n\nCollate challenging, realistic, rolling, three-monthly Profit & Loss forecasts together with annual expectations based on the latest available management information.\n\nSupport the Business Leader with the preparation of the annual business unit plan in conjunction with the relevant commercial leaders.\n\nPrepare cost-benefit reports and pro-active analytical works to facilitate continuous improvement of the business unit's performance.\n\nFully comprehend the financial and commercial details of the business units activities to ensure optimal performance and risk management.\n\n\n\n\nCandidate requirements:\n\n\nQualified accountant with a management accounting background (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)\n\nGreat communication skills\n\nGood commercial awareness\n\nTrack record of working directly with commercial colleagues\n\nBachelor's Degree in accounting/finance\n\nDetail oriented & self-sufficient\n\nExcellent Excel skills is a must.\n\nFP&A experience (preferred)\n\nBasic knowledge of SQL (preferred)\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
