You will serve as an emerging authority, applying extensive technical expertise to develop and manage comprehensive compliance and ethics programs. You will advise leadership on regulatory obligations, compliance risks, and mitigation strategies through detailed analysis and reporting. You will design and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls that strengthen regulatory adherence and ethical standards across the enterprise. You will work closely with the Chief People Officer in determining objectives, strategies, and corrective actions related to compliance initiatives. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance monitoring, communication, and enforcement of compliance standards. You will handle sensitive information with discretion while supporting a workplace culture grounded in integrity, accountability, and compliance with regulatory standards. \n\n \n\nThe proposed salary range for this position is $118,566โ$177,848. Employment benefits include health and wellness programs, income protection, paid leave and retirement and savings. \n\n\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n\n\n\nImplement and manage an effective HR legal and regulatory compliance program \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDevelop, review, and update company policies to ensure alignment with applicable laws and regulations \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdvise management on compliance risks and regulatory requirements through detailed reports and recommendations \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCreate and manage corrective action plans in response to audit findings and compliance violations \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nConduct periodic internal audits and reviews of procedures, practices, and documentation to identify risks or weaknesses \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAssess company operations to determine areas of compliance, ethical, or operational risk \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIdentify compliance or ethics issues requiring follow-up, investigation, or remediation \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDesign and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified compliance risks \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWrite, disseminate, and maintain policies and procedures related to compliance and ethics programs \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCollaborate with internal management teams to develop, implement, and operate compliance and ethics initiatives \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDevelop and deliver employee training on compliance-related topics, policies, and regulatory updates \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEnsure employees are educated on current regulations, reporting mechanisms, and ethical standards \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nResolve employee concerns related to legal compliance and ethical matters \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAssist with audit reporting and oversee related corrective actions to ensure timely resolution \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDesign and implement improvements in communication, monitoring, and enforcement of compliance standards \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMaintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipate in growth efforts as requested \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEnsure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nComplete personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime (with camera on) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExecute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract-specific LCAT and requirements \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPerform other related duties as assigned \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKEY QUALIFICATIONS\n\n\n\nClearance: Ability to obtain Secret clearance \nEducation and Years of Experience: Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 8 - 10 years of experience, or a Master's with 6 - 8 years of experience in Human Resources, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field. \n\n\n\n\n\nExtensive knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, including federal, state, and local employment laws and regulatory requirements \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and provide strategic recommendations \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills for coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDemonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide compliance programs \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExperience drafting, reviewing, and revising corporate policies and operating procedures \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex compliance risks and recommend effective solutions \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting findings to senior leadership \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbility to exercise independent judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive matters \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS\n\n\n\n\nProfessional certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CHRC, or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExperience supporting compliance within government contracting or regulated industries \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKnowledge of ethics program management and whistleblower protection frameworks \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExperience implementing compliance management systems or governance tools \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFamiliarity with data privacy, workplace investigations, and regulatory reporting requirements \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEXPANSIA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
