\nAbout Us\nNourish is on a mission to improve peopleโs health by making it easy to eat well. More than half of Americans have a chronic condition related to what they eat, and poor nutrition is the number one driver of preventable death.\n \nNourish is addressing this healthcare crisis by helping people eat better. We connect chronic disease patients with a Registered Dietitian via telehealth and get it covered by their health insurance.\n \nWe launched two years ago and already have hundreds of dietitians and tens of thousands of patients on the platform. Our patients span a wide range of nutrition-related conditions including diabetes, eating disorders, kidney disease, GI conditions, cancer, obesity / weight management, cardiovascular disease, and more. We are live in all 50 states.\n \nWe are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised over $44M from top-tier VCs including Index Ventures, Thrive Capital, Y Combinator, and Box Group, amongst others. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.\n \nLearn more about us in TechCrunch here and read about our recent Series A here.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nReporting directly to our Director of Operations and as the first full-time credentialing hire, you will own all credentialing operations at Nourish, including managing day-to-day operations, streamlining our existing workflows, and helping design the future of credentialing at Nourish.\n\nThis role is critical for a number of Nourishโs core operations; youโll get the chance to work cross-functionally with our RCM, Payer Ops, Clinical Ops, Growth, and Product & Engineering teams. Youโll play a key role in helping Nourish efficiently scale our credentialing operations as we continue to grow quickly and help more patients. The work you do will positively impact all stakeholders at Nourish - our patients (ensuring they get the life-changing care they need), our dietitians (providing a best-in-class credentialing experience), our payers, and many more.\n\nThis role is filled with growth and ownership opportunities - from revamping our existing processes to building new workflows from the ground up and being the cross-functional credentialing point-person at Nourish.\n\nThis role is full-time and open to remote or in Nourishโs NYC office in the heart of Silicon Alley.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n\n* Own the completion of credentialing applications for new/existing providers under our existing contracts\n\n* Identify areas to streamline our existing credentialing processes (by introducing new tools/tech, optimizing the individual steps, allocating team time differently, etc.)\n\n* Manage the existing team in charge of application execution & follow-ups, including determining how to allocate their time across different priorities and ensuring all key priorities are met\n\n* Identify & design credentialing workflows for net-new contracts as Nourish expands our payer partnerships, then launch these internally\n\n* Track key credentialing metrics & report out on progress, roadblocks, etc.\n\n* Identify key strategic projects/areas of focus for our credentialing organization to continuously improve\n\n* Work cross-functionally with other organizations at Nourish to understand priorities, provide updates, share key learnings, etc.\n\n\n\nYouโll love this role if:\n\n\n* You're detail-oriented and able to manage many moving pieces. You enjoy being organized and meeting your deadlines. Youโre comfortable with having a lot on your plate and able to make decisions around how to prioritize your (and your teamโs) work.\n\n* You seek out opportunities to take ownership and problem solve. Once you are comfortable with a process, you like being given the opportunity to fully own a workflow and make associated decisions. As long as you have enough support, you like having the opportunity for autonomy and independence.\n\n* You're a problem-solver and you donโt get dissuaded when roadblocks come up - you pivot, find a way around them, and keep moving along.\n\n* You donโt like to settle for โgood enoughโ. You proactively identify areas for improvement within current processes and tools and suggest changes when you think they could be better. Youโre able to come up with creative solutions to achieve our goals, and arenโt afraid to share your opinion.\n\n* You thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. You are energized by a rapidly improving (and thus changing) environment. Changes to processes and workflows donโt stress you out โ you see them as an opportunity to learn a new skill or improve a client experience.\n\n* Youโre passionate about Nourishโs mission. Youโre interested in nutrition and are eager to be part of solving Americaโs healthcare crisis.\n\n\n\nWeโd love to hear from you if:\n\n\n* You have minimum 2+ years of credentialing experience at another healthtech/healthcare organization\n\n* You have experience managing internal or external resources on your team\n\n* Youโve owned credentialing processes end-to-end, and are excited by the prospect of fully owning credentialing at Nourish\n\n* You are an effective communicator and enjoy working cross-functionally, and able to work with people in many different environments/roles\n\n* You enjoy new challenges and jump in headfirst when facing an issue. You are able to adapt to the situation at hand and can be flexible in your approach when new circumstances arise\n\n* You arenโt afraid to get into the weeds and get things done when needed (youโre willing to do your own stunts). You always ensure the job gets done\n\n* You are tech-savvy and open to learning and using new technologies\n\n\n\n\nPlease note that you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for this position. \n\n#LI-REMOTE #LI-HYBRID\nMore Information\nMission & Vision & Success\nNourish Clinical Philosophy\nValues\nWhy Nourish Exists\nTeam\nCompensation & Benefits\nHow We Work\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

๐ Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here, thanks!
When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy equipment which they then pay you back for later. Also never pay for trainings you have to do. Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams. When clicking on the button to apply above, you will leave Remote OK and go to the job application page for that company outside this site.
