\nWhat we have\n\nWe are looking to convert an older, internally-built .NET framework to using Entity Framework Core with a look towards .NET 5, \n\nWhat we need\n\nWe’re looking for someone who can step in and help with existing development efforts. You don’t need to be the human equivalent of Stack Overflow, but you do need to be able to react and adjust to changing schedules and environments. You need to have a solid background in .NET as we transition our existing code from .NET Framework to .NET Core/.NET 5. You will also need to have some skills with SQL Server. Azure wouldn't be a bad thing either, as we plan to transition towards an Azure database in the future. \n\nOur development staff has transitioned to be completely virtual, but you can work in the office as well. If you want to come to the office, we’ll make a desk ready for you. We do ask that you have above-average communication skills and are able to pass a background check. \n\nRequirements\n\n\n* 6+ years with .NET\n\n* 6+ years with Entity Framework (at least some of that with EFCore)\n\n* 6+ years with SQL Server\n\n* Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n\n* Experience with scrum methodologies\n\n* Ability to pass a background check \n\n\n\n\nWould be nice, but you don’t have to know\n\n\n* Blazor\n\n* WPF\n\n* ESRI\n\n* Public safety knowledge\n\n* Azure\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

\nWhat we have\n\nOur current suite of products needs a new look. As we have moved from older legacy applications into web apps, our UI has remained stuck in an older frame of mind. \n\nWhat we need\n\nWe’re looking for someone to help us refresh the design of our product suite. We’re not talking about a simple UI refresh, but a full-on makeover. We need someone who can deliver a set of design guidelines based on our business requirements that our developers can then work their magic on and turn into an attractive, highly functional product. A great user experience is our primary goal. Everything else is secondary to that. \n\nRequirements\n\n\n* Solid understanding of UI design and user experience\n\n* Familiarity with Material Design\n\n* Ability to create a set of design documents based on business requirements and customer feedback\n\n* Examples of products worked on and visual design shipped\n\n\n\n\n\n* Previous experience with a UI/UX role\n\n\n\n\nThis is a contract position that should last about 4-6 months and is entirely remote. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
