We need experienced engineers to join SiteGround and work on a next-generation web development platform, the main focus of which is to enable anyone to easily start and grow their own web presence.\n\nYour Responsibilities: \n• Build efficient and reusable web systems and abstractions, part of a large scale web development platform; \n• Participation in the full agile cycle of the product development; \n• Finding and addressing performance problems; \n• Participation in design and code reviews; \n• Identify and communicate javascript best practices. \n\nOur Expectations:\n• Expert knowledge in JavaScript; \n• Solid experience with JS Libraries or frameworks (ReactJS, Redux, React Native); \n• Experience with cutting edge front-end javascript technologies - Babel, Webpack, NPM, Rake, Composer; \n• Experience with Javascript technologies & AJAX; \n• Profound understanding of the HTTP protocol; \n• Experience with ES6; \n• Experience in HTML5, CSS3; \n• Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL or other); \n• Self-learner - ability to see a project through A to Z; \n• When things break – and they will – you are eager and able to help fix things. \n\nGreat advantage will be:\n• Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g. Symfony, Laravel); \n• Knowledge of SOLID principles; \n• Experience with Reactive programming; \n• Solid understanding of RESTful services; \n• Experience in Linux-based OS; \n• Good command of English; \n• Obtained or pursuing a university degree in the IT sector. \n\nWhat We Offer:\n• Competitive salary;\n• Opportunity for personal and professional growth;\n• Fast-paced and constantly changing environment;\n• Young and diverse team of passionate and self-motivated professionals;\n• Friendly company culture built entirely around people's happiness.\n\nIf this sounds like something you’d be interested in, we'd love to hear from you!\n\nPlease note: The position that we offer is remote.
