We have been featured on TechCrunch, CNBC, Fast Company, and Forbes – and listed on CB Insights Top 150 Digital Health Startups, New York Digital Health Top 100 Startups, and BuiltIn’s 2023 Best Places to Work.\n\n\nHeartbeat Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our virtual clinic Monday through Friday from 8:30-4:30 pm EST.\n\n\n\nAbout the Role\n* \n\n\nPatient care: \n* Prepare patients for physician visit\n* Connect with patients, ensure video and audio work, add interpreters as needed\n* Obtain signed telehealth consent\n* Obtain photos of insurance cards\n\n\nClinical duties:\n* Prepare patients for physicians\n* Document up to date med list with dosing\n* Document Medical History\n* Document Primary Complaint\n\n\nAdministrative tasks:\n* Schedule follow up appointments\n* Appointment confirmation calls for next day\n* Chart checks\n* Chart Prep for visits for the next day\n* Discover and recommend better ways to communicate, connect, and build relationships with Heartbeat patients\n* Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation\n* Execute policies that promote the best patient experience\n\n\n\nAbout You\n* High school diploma or equivalent\n* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required\n* 1-3 Years of experience as a Medical Assistant \n* Exceptional people skills and a GREAT communicator \n* Passion for delivering an outstanding patient experience\n* Detail-oriented with a focus on processes\n* Fast learner while being flexible and adaptable\n* Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities \n* Self-driven and excited to support new technology\n* Experience with providing virtual care to patients is a plus\n\n\n\nWhy you'll love working here\n* We're mission-driven: we're revolutionizing the way cardiovascular care is delivered\n* Up for the challenge: make a big impact by joining a fast-growing team in its early stages\n* Great people: become a part of something incredible, and do it with an exceptionally talented, multidisciplinary team. \n* We care about diversity: diversity allows us to build an excellent patient experience.
