Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA.\n\nSoftware Engineer- Backend Intern (Summer 2026)\n\nAs a Software Engineer Intern on the Platform team, you'll design and build services that autonomously control satellites, monitor telemetry for anomalies, and provide real-time situational awareness to keep our fleet safe and online. You'll also be building the core components and services that power the rest of our software organization, enabling every team to move faster and more reliably.\n\nYou will be shaping the foundation of software that has to work flawlessly – because our satellites depend on it.\n\nThis role will contribute to both our commercial and US government programs.\n\nInternships at Astranis typically last for twelve weeks, and are hourly roles designed for students who are currently enrolled at a four-year university.
