What You’ll Do:
Develop backend code using JavaScript for both Firestore functions and browser extensions.
Collaborate closely with engineering and head of product to automate form filling (extension autofill), web scraping, and AI ensuring powerful automation and an exceptional user experience.
Integrate with third-party tools via RESTful APIs, including Google, Zoom, and Algolia.
Ensure high-quality software delivery through automated testing.
Contribute to additional tasks to make TurboFund a widely-used killer app.
What You’ll Bring:
At least 5 years of experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript for backend automation and web scraping.
In-depth knowledge of Chrome extensions, Firestore databases, and cloud functions.
Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting, with a proven track record of timely results.
Excellent visual and written communication skills for effective collaboration with design, product, and engineering teams.
Bonus Points For:
Experience with Plasmo (browser extension framework).
Familiarity with Google and Zoom APIs, especially Gmail, Calendars, and Pub/Sub syncing.
Experience with Puppeteer for scraping/testing tasks.
Experience with the Vue.js frontend framework.
