Remote Regional Human Resources Business Partner West

Everybody is invited to this ear party! \n\nReporting to the Chief People Officer, Rowanโs Regional Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a crucial link between the HR team and the field. This remote based position will provide dedicated HR guidance and support to an entire region of Rowan employees, including the entire employee life cycle in our Studios, such as, but not limited, to employee relations, performance management, training, engagement, career development and compliance. \n \nThis position, along with the entire HR team, will champion the company's culture, values & practices to maintain Rowanโs place as an employer of choice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 yearsโ experience successfully supporting general human resources functions and will have a desire to continue to grow their HR skill set.\n \n\n\n\nWhat you'll do: \nStrategic Business Partner\n\n\nBe a strategic business partner to one of Rowanโs Regional General Managers, providing guidance on how to navigate and manage people matters with an eye towards advancing enterprise wide growth objectives.\n\n\n\nRoutinely meet with field management within the region to identify and manage regional business needs and trends across the employee spectrum.\n\n\n\nCollaborate with other Regional HR Business Partners to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement\n\n\n\nPartner with cross-functional leaders to develop and execute solutions to improve HR and Operational compliance.\n\n\n\nBuild strong relationships with field leadership through regular touchpoints to understand team dynamics, challenges, and opportunities.\n\n\n\n\nEmployee Relations\n\n\nBe well versed in company policies and benefits, and provide support to field teams in understanding and enforcing compliance.\n\n\n\nServe as regional HR compliance expert by developing deep knowledge of state and local workplace laws, exercising professional judgment on when to escalate issues for further legal support.\n\n\n\nConduct thorough and timely investigations into employee concerns or policy violations, and recommend appropriate outcomes in alignment with company standards.\n\n\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for the region's employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and performance management guidance, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nConduct compliance audits and provide recommendations and training to improve compliance with HR policies.\n\n\n\nSupport field HR communications, including policy changes, change management, organizational announcements, etc. \n\n\n\n\nEmployee Development\n\n\nDevelop a deep understanding of the nurse labor market and hiring trends for existing and new studios, in partnership with the recruiting team.\n\n\n\nActively be part of the recruiting process for all field management positions, including conducting first round interviews as business need dictates or by being part of an interview panel for key positions.\n\n\n\nPartner with Studio Managers and District Managers to ensure newly hired or promoted employees receive appropriate onboarding and training, consistent with procedures and programs developed centrally.\n\n\n\nPartner with regional and district management on workforce planning, succession planning, and career development programs.\n\n\n\nSupport performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and annual review cycles.\n\n\n\nConduct HR Training to Field Leadership including but not limited to HR processes and procedures, employment laws, recruiting, etc.\n\n\n\n\nEmployee Lifecycle \n\n\nOversee the region(s) day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, job changes, promotions, relocations, leaves of absence, and exits.\n\n\n\nConduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and share insights with leadership to inform retention and engagement strategies.\n\n\n\nManage and support cyclical HR processes such as performance review cycles, compliance requirements, and other recurring programs.\n\n\n\nProvide guidance to employees on benefits, payroll, and leave-related inquiries, escalating issues as needed.\n\n\n\nEnsure accuracy and timeliness of employee data and transactions within HR systems, maintaining strong data integrity across the organization.\n\n\n\nFollow up and track all aspects of employment, such as completing employment forms, conducting orientations and notifying departments of new hire start date\n\n\n\n\nOperational Excellence\n\n\nManage and analyze HR metrics for the region, providing regular reporting and insights to HR and business leadership.\n\n\n\nSupport field HR communications such as policy, program, and benefits updates; change management communications; organizational announcements, etc. by collaborating with the HR team and Field Leadership as communications require.\n\n\n\nStrengthen employee engagement by using data informed results and continuous listening insights to implement targeted strategies that support a positive, highโperformance culture.\n\n\n\nEnsure accurate and timely updates in HRIS systems and maintain employee records.\n\n\n\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations.\n\n\n\n\nOther duties as assigned \n\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\n\n\n3+ years Human Resources or equivalent experience preferred, within a multi-state organization.\n\n\n\nBA/BS, preferably in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience\n\n\n\nHR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) credential preferred.\n\n\n\nExperience in retail or service-based environments preferred.\n\n\n\nWell versed in employee relations and handling difficult employment matters\n\n\n\nExcellent judgment and executive presence, understanding need for confidentiality given access and exposure to confidential and sensitive information;\n\n\n\nExemplifies high standards of honesty, integrity and discretion\n\n\n\nClear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills\n\n\n\nExcellent organizational skills;
