This role will collaborate with our client delivery, project management and commercial finance teams to ensure the financial health of the business and consistency and applicable financial controls. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with prior experience connecting finance, accounting and operations and continuously looks for continuous improvement opportunities to meet changing business needs while leading, coaching and developing a team of finance professionals fostering a culture of growth, accountability and continuous learning. \n\n\n\nWhat You'll Do\n* Establish new company-wide processes to support project finance activities considering financial controls while obtaining cross-functional alignment across project management, client services, finance capabilities and accounting teams. \n\n\n* Lead team of 8-10 project finance professionals located across the US and UK. \n\n\n* Collaborate with project management (PM) and client service (CS) teams to manage financial data inside WorkFront and NetSuite systems including setting up new clients and programs, managing on going revenue recognition, and owning project cash management activities including invoicing and project cash projections. \n\n\n* As owner of Revenue Recognition with outside auditors, review monthly client budgets and actuals with our CS and PM teams to verify billing and revenue recognition. \n\n\n* Support the Finance capability teams in key initiatives including margin by client, recovery, invoicing analytics, forecasting indicators and development of business KPIs. \n\n\n* Manage Accrued Revenue and Deferred Liabilities and ensure balances are updated and reconciled to maximize cash flow \n* Assist Finance capability teams with reporting requirements for monthly, quarterly and annual cycles as well as ad-hoc client reporting needs. \n\n\n* Champion continuous improvement initiatives especially around newly implemented project management software. \n\n\n\nAbout You\n* 7+ years’ experience with progressive experience across accounting / finance or graduate of finance leadership rotational program with strong technical & leadership skills able to operate in a fast paced and challenging environment. \n* Proven leadership and coaching skills managing a diverse team in remote locations \n* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate through ambiguity and establish clarity and direction. \n* Excellent time management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. \n* Self-starter, organized and able to prioritize effectively without day-to-day oversight. \n* High attention to detail with 'big picture' awareness. \n* Compelling influencing skills to drive initiatives while collaborating cross-functionally. \n* Committed to continuous improvement. \n* Proficient with Microsoft Office packages, Adobe WorkFront and Oracle NetSuite (desirable). \n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat we can offer\n\n\nYou'll receive up to a 7% pension contribution, life insurance, income protection, and private medical insurance for peace of mind.
