\nAs a Data Scientist (all genders) you are a key member of the Data Science team, responsible for creating deep analytical insights, developing data driven products/solutions and building algorithms to improve sales, generate efficiencies and optimize existing processes. \nWhat you'll do \n\n\nCreate data products and deliver deep insights that support the goals and ambitions of Eurowings Digital and Eurowings Group \n\n\n\n\n\nIdentify, evaluate, forecast, and provide recommendations on the optimization of our prices and products. Bring value in terms of personalized offerings, revenue and costs \n\n\n\n\n\nWork constantly on the accuracy, reliability and success rate of our data products. Monitor and optimize our data products / MVPs on a regular basis \n\n\n\n\n\nWork closely with Business Analysts, Data Engineers and other colleagues to deliver the best data products and processes end-to-end \n\n\n\n\n\nIdentify opportunities for partnerships to progress with our mission in making data accessible and delivering actionable insights to the organization \n\n\n\n\n\nKeep track of the latest trends of the data science toolbox. Make our data products better by initiating changes and applying these new trends \n\n\n\n\nOur Tech Stack: Spark, Python, Scala, Azure Cloud, Databricks, MLflow, MS Analysis Service, MS Synapse, MS SQL \nWhat you'll need \n\n\nUniversity degree (preferably a Master's degree) in Economics, Computer Science or any related field \n\n\n\n\n\nExperience as an intern / working student in the field or at least 1 year experience as a Data Scientist \n\n\n\n\n\nProficient in working with recommendation engines, dynamic pricing and forecasting \n\n\n\n\n\nWorking knowledge of MLOps and containerization (preferably in the Azure ecosystem) \n\n\n\nWhat you'll bring \n\n\nCuriosity \n\n\n\n\n\nInnovation \n\n\n\n\n\nProblem-solving mindset \n\n\n\n\n\nClear communication \n\n\n\n\n\nComfort with working in an agile framework \n\n\n\n\nBonus Points: \n\nWorking knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, APIs (web services), stream processing frameworks (e.g., Kafka), A/B testing and MS Fabric\n\nRemote first set up (within Germany): We believe in a hybrid working model with a remote-first approach. This means that our company is optimized for work to be done remotely no matter where you are living in Germany.
