As a remote physiotherapist, you will providing digital consultations and treatments to clients with various MSK issues, offering expert advice and guidance to help them manage and overcome their conditions.\nThis service runs alongside other providers to ensure fast access to triage where no other GP referral has been made. The service has a dual function: offering assistance and guidance for patients to effectively manage their MSK condition independently, and when needed, it helps to arrange referrals to suitable recognised clinicians or services.\nDeliver excellent standards of telephone and video assessments\nYou will be expected to carry out 30 minute appointments\nProvide diagnosis, prescription of self-management techniques and onward referrals\nManage customer pathways, delivering the most appropriate clinical outcomes\nAssess customer needs and provide appropriate advice and support.\nProvide remote guidance and instruction to on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and self-management strategies for managing MSK conditions.\nOffer remote consultations to address patients questions, concerns, and progress updates, providing ongoing support and motivation throughout their rehabilitation journey.\nStay current with advancements in MSK physiotherapy practice and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.\nCommitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and promoting the overall health and well-being of patients.\n\n\nEssential requirements\n· MSc post graduate qualification in MSK Physiotherapy or University accredited Post Graduate modules in MSK/Advanced Practice. Post grad module relevant to diagnostic nature of APP service\n· Be up-to-date with own clinical practice and demonstrate an ability to maintain clinical competence.\n· Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)\n·5 years post graduate experience in MSK with at least 3 years in a senior role in MSK\n· Experience working in the NHS as an MSK Advanced Physiotherapist\n· Demonstrate post graduate learning and advanced clinical skills (MSc level) in patient assessment, diagnostics with development of treatment plan, including evidence of working at Level 7 (MSc level) all 4 pillars (clinical practice, leadership & management, education and research\n· Ability to order and interpret diagnostic tests\n· Proficient in using telehealth platforms and EMR systems for remote consultations and documentation.\n· Experience conducting remote consultations and delivering virtual care is preferred.\n\n\nAbout us\nGPDQ provides nationwide healthcare services for individuals, businesses, and the NHS.
