Each member of the FanTalk team thrives on building world class products and is able to make a meaningful impact on their area of focus. \n\nResponsibilities \n\n\n* Together with the lead software engineer, evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for the engineering team to use\n\n* Build upon the existing mobile client (iOS for now, Android later) \n\n* Work together with our lead software engineer to develop APIs needed for iOS and Android clients\n\n* Help recruit new members to the technical team\n\n\n\n\nRequirements \n\n\n* Battle scars from building large scale systems \n\n* Passion for building products used by millions worldwide and for being a collaborative team member \n\n* BS/MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience from accredited university. Complete command of CS fundamentals including algorithm design, data structures, and system design is a must \n\n* 5+ years of software development experience \n\n* Experience working in small teams using Agile development to deliver high quality results quickly and consistently\n\n* Inspirational personality and the ability to form strong interpersonal bonds\n\n\n\n\nNice to haves \n\n\n* Experience with our existing tech stack (node.js, heroku, Objective-C, Android Java, MongoDB) \n\n* In-depth knowledge of sports \n\n* Front-end mobile web development a plus\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
