\nIdeally you are better at *something* that the rest of the team. A team is like a jazz band. You always want to be playing with people that are better than you. That applies to us. We want you to be the best at something so you can learn from us and we can learn from you. The only thing we're sure of is that we don't know everything.\n\nAs a Rails Devleoper you'll primarily be responsible and be the go-to person for all of our front end application dev. You probably have a good eye for design.\n\nWe use Node.js, Rails and Ember. So we would expect that you'll want to learn that. Willingness to learn, and aptitude to learn are important. I've seen rookies that can learn faster than veterans with a decade of experience. So, we don't have any hard and fast rules about 'number of years experience'.\n\nWe'd like to see some URLs or some kind of portfolio with your application. You'll generally get an e-mail back right away if you take the time to send us an application and include some kind of URL or portfolio.\n\nBonus points for using remote technologies to get an interview scheduled. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
