Purpose of the Job \nAt 6sense, we are looking for a highly skilled Staff Visual Designer who can shape the look and feel of our product portfolio through pragmatic but visually compelling components and pattern design. Suppose you have experience as the in-house leader of visual design for an enterprise design system. In that case, this is an exciting opportunity to make your mark on an existing but still-developing design system. \nOur product designers are excited to design and document the functionality of base components, but we need an expert to help us turn those patterns into a beautiful system that aligns with our company branding. \nJob Description :\nResponsibilities & Accountabilities \n\nLead designing a system of UI components and patterns that are aesthetically pleasing, reusable, scalable, and accessible. \n\nContinuously refine the design system over time, considering evolving design trends and business needs. \n\nWork to understand the problems that product designers are solving and ensure the design system can accommodate those needs. \n\nHelp determine when new patterns are needed or redirect product teams if an existing pattern is preferred. \n\nEstablish a system of design tokens and drive their use to maintain consistency across platforms. \n\nEnsure that design system components adhere to accessibility standards, optimizing inclusivity for all users. \n\nConduct user research when necessary to validate design choices and iterate based on feedback. \n\nCreate component documentation to support team-wide adoption. \n\nWork collaboratively with designers and engineers to develop components through a structured process. \n\nPartner with content writers to ensure consistency in tone, style, and clarity across all design system patterns. \n\nWork with product teams to ensure correct use of design system components, as needed. \n\nCollaborate with engineers to build and test components, ensuring accurate and high-quality implementation. \n\n\n\nEducational and Experience Requirements \nMust have: \n\n\nPassion for creating beautiful, user-centric designs. \n\nExperience working as an in-house visual designer on one or more enterprise design systems. \n\nDeep understanding of how to continuously refine a design system over time, as needed. \n\nProficiency in HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma. \n\n\n\nAlso, must have a portfolio (can be in the format of the design system itself) that shows: \n\n\nProven ability to design UI components and patterns that are reusable and scalable \n\nUse of design tokens to maintain consistency across products \n\nApproach to accessibility.\n\n\n\n\nCompetencies and Behaviors \n\n\n* A clear understanding of front-end engineering. \n\n* Passionate commitment to usability principles. \n\n* Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to drive coordination across cross-functional teams. \n\n* Strong English writing skills to facilitate clear, concise component documentation. #LI-remote\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
