This role will help lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic investments including acquisitions, partnerships, and organic investments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate development, strategic planning, and financial analysis. This role reports directly to the VP of Corporate Development and will work closely with the executive team.\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n* Strategic Planning and Execution:\n* Pivotal role in the execution of our corporate development strategy to support the company's growth objectives.\n* Evaluate potential M&A targets, strategic investments, and partnership opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.\n\n\n\n* Deal Management:\n* Manage the end-to-end deal process, including due diligence, valuation, structuring, and integration.\n* Develop and maintain relationships with investment banks, other data center companies, and other key stakeholders.\n\n\n\n* Market and Competitive Analysis:\n* Work with our market analyst to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats related to projects and the company.\n* Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team.\n\n\n\n* Financial Analysis and Modeling:\n* Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning for potential transactions.\n* Prepare and present investment memos and board presentations.\n\n\n\n* Cross-functional teamwork:\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, product, development, construction and operations, to ensure seamless execution of corporate development initiatives.\n* Help facilitate post-merger integration efforts to ensure the successful realization of deal synergies.\n\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field\n* Ideally, this individual possesses 3+ years of experience in a senior role within a principal investor / operator company (Data center, real estate, etc.)\n* Strong financial acumen and experience with financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.\n* Proven experience in the underwriting and valuation of development opportunities, land acquisitions, and underwriting transactions.\n* Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n* Positive attitude, quick learner, and self-starter are required attributes. \n\n\n***Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or transfer sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.***\n\n\n\n$130,000 - $160,000 a yearBenefits:We offer a competitive benefit package for full-time employees that includes:\nMedical, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible spending account optionsNon-accrued PTOCompany paid holidays401k Retirement PlanShort- and Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Discount MarketplaceEmployee Recognition Platform\nIndividual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
