\neBay is hiring! We are looking for Agile Software Engineers of all levels, to join our team in Berlin.\n\nWe are looking for developers who have an expert's depth and breadth of experience of building high availability, scalable web applications and services. You will be proficient in teaching and leading by example, and be comfortable mentoring both junior and senior developers.\n\nDay to day, we write code in Java, Scala or Javascript, but as someone who is passionate about development, you'll be open to picking up new languages and frameworks when the situation arises.\n\nWe are continually striving for the highest quality, and work in small focussed teams following bits of Scrum, Kanban, with a healthy dose of Extreme Programming.\n\nYou will work with people who care about well written, test-driven, clean code, delightful user experiences and all the lovely stuff that's involved with automatically tested, zero-touch deployed applications. The team works very closely, and like to pair program on pretty much everything.\n\nDevelopers write their own tests, whilst learning from test engineers embedded in the team. EPD developers learn form each other. For example, our Java specialists learn from our Javascript experts, and vice-versa. Having a desire to expand and master something new means you're a good fit for us. \n\nOur developers decide on the right tool for the job, so you should be comfortable in doing the same. We have a lot of fun discussing the merits of different technology and want people who can lead these conversations. \n\nWe hope you get the idea of what we're looking for. We're looking for great developers, with an opinion, and the capability to back it up.\n\nWe are an active part of the Berlin tech community.
