Center is hiring a Remote Senior Frontend Developer
We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to help us update our marketing site.
We have complete Figma designs -- we're looking for a high-quality implementation of these designs.
This will involve updating 5-10 pages on our website. You will work closely with our Head of Product to implement and iterate on new designs.
Expectations
Ensure Pixel-Perfect Accuracy: Your work should mirror the Figma designs precisely, with attention to dimensions, spacing, and layout consistency across various web browsers.
Implement Responsive Design: The site must adapt seamlessly to different devices (desktop, tablets, smartphones), maintaining functionality and aesthetics. Please adhere to the specified breakpoints or apply standard ones as needed.
Achieve Cross-Browser Compatibility: The website should function flawlessly and look consistent in all major web browsers.
Optimize for Performance: Aim for quick loading times by optimizing images, minimizing script and stylesheet usage, and following other performance best practices.
Maintain High Code Quality: Your code should be clean, well-commented, and follow industry standards for maintainability and scalability.
Conduct Comprehensive Testing: You're responsible for extensive testing and addressing any issues discovered.
Stay in Constant Communication: Keep us updated on your progress via Slack regularly.

Our design system is based on Shadcn.
You will likely be making some minor updates to our design system as part of this work.
Timeframe
This initial phase of work will likely last 1-2 weeks. After that, we're looking for someone we can keep on retainer for at least two months to make high priority front-end updates to our web presence.
Modern frontend frameworks and libraries including TailwindCSS
Proficient with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Experience building web applications at an early stage company
Strong written and verbal communication skills
