\nWe are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable Telehealth Veterinary Nurse to provide remote support to our members through chat and phone communications. The successful candidate will work closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional telehealth services and support to our members. This position is remote and will report directly to Small Doorโs Telehealth Manager. \n\nTo ensure expanded coverage for our members, all Telehealth Nurses will have a fixed schedule, which they must commit to for at least one year.\n\nThe Telehealth Nurse will be asked to pick up the following shifts:\n\n\n* \nSaturday 8a-5p\n\n\n* \nSunday 3p-10p\n\n\n* \nOpen availability for 3 shifts per week between the hours of 7a-5p\n\n\n* \nWilling to help with overnight coverage a plus!\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat youโll do\n\n\nEngage with Small Door members through text-based chat and phone to provide telehealth services and support\n\nDeliver an exceptional member experience by conveying empathy and warmth over chat and phone communication\n\nIndependently handle and resolve tasks, adhering to high-quality standards and deadlines\n\nOngoing collaboration with both virtual and in-practice team members via constant communication and monthly team meetings\n\nUtilization of your clinical training and opportunities to give personalized care to patients virtually.\n\nMaintaining accurate medical records and communication documentation\n\nMaster internal systems and tools to consistently deliver exceptional care to members while meeting quality and productivity goals\n\nMaintain deep knowledge and familiarity with Small Door's memberships, services, and perks\n\nLead, model, and exemplify Small Door experience standards\n\n\n\n\nWho you are\n\n\n5+ years of experience as a LVT/RVT/CVT or Veterinary Assistant\n\nAbility to triage; knowledge of recognizing medical emergencies and illnesses\n\nA drive to work for a company with a startup mindset, breaking tradition\n\nProblem-solving self-starter who can both work independently and is also a team player\n\nExcellent communication skills and highly organized with strong attention to detail\n\nCustomer service mindset, highly empathetic and compassionate\n\nHighly skilled at technology and online tools (G Suite, Slack, Intercom or other CRM platforms, etc.)\n\nMust be able to work flexible/non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays\n\nPassion and a love for animals (especially cats and dogs!)\n\n\n\n\nWhat you'll get\n\n\nCompetitive salary ($18/hour)\n\nAn opportunity to make a real impact on the people around you\n\nA collaborative group of people who live our core values and have your back\n\n\n\n\n
