\n\n\nOverview\n\nAs part of our data migration project, we are seeking a talented Data Engineer to focus on the transformation layer of our data pipeline.\n\n \n\nJob Summary\n\nWe are looking for a Data Engineer with exceptional SQL skills and experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) to handle the transformation processes within our data pipeline. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring data is accurately and efficiently transformed for visualization and analysis. Please note that this is a 6 to 8 months project, and it requires availability from Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 3.30 pm PST.\n\n \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n\n* Develop and maintain robust data transformation processes using SQL and DBT.\n\n* Collaborate with the extract and load team to ensure data is properly ingested and prepared for transformation.\n\n* Design and implement data models and transformations that support business requirements and enable data visualization.\n\n* Optimize SQL queries and dbt models for performance and scalability.\n\n* Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the transformation process.\n\n* Document data transformation processes and maintain comprehensive documentation for data workflows.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nQualifications\n\n\n* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\n* 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data transformation.\n\n* Strong SQL skills, with a proven track record of writing efficient and complex queries.\n\n* At least 2 years of experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).\n\n* Familiarity with ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes and principles.\n\n* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n\n* Strong communication and collaboration skills.\n\n* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy work for Launchpad?\n\n\n100% remote\n\nPeople first culture\n\nExcellent compensation in US Dollars\n\nHardware setup for working from home\n\nWork with global teams and prominent brands based in North America, Europe, and Asia\n\nTraining allowances\n\nPersonal time off (PTO) for vacations, study leave, personal time, etc.\n\n...and more!\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
