Remote Internal Audit Manager Brokerage\nAbout the role\n\nAs an Internal Audit Manager, you will be primarily responsible for execution of audits and recommendations on controls in the areas of brokerage operations and clearing as well as other areas of the business. Remote Senior Software Engineer Service Discovery and CommunicationAbout the team: \n\nRobinhood’s products are powered by a multitude of powerful microservices working in unison. In order for these microservices to work, they need to be able to locate and communicate with each other. We build and deploy the fundamental systems that enable this real-time, inter-service communication all while being highly-scaleable, robust and reliable!\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and lead from a very technical lens. This engineer will have true ownership, continuing to build the innovation to continue to delight our users.\nWhat you’ll do day-to-day:\n\n\n* Design large scale systems within a team, making the right tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability.\n\n* Proactively identify and drive optimizations and improvements to the infrastructure and systems.\n\n* Mentor and train junior engineers in the team.\n\n* Contribute to open source projects.\n\n\n\nAbout you:\n\n\n* Proven understanding of Networking and Microservice Architecture and a familiarity with writing highly concurrent systems with load balancing techniques.\n\n* Have a strong technical grasp and have excellent judgment on task prioritizations.\n\n* You are able to tackle sophisticated engineering problems that deliver results which help the team to achieve its objectives.\n\n* You have a history of creating and applying new processes and tooling to increase engineering efficiency.\n\n* Passion in mentoring junior engineers and improving the engineering craftsmanship!\n\n\n\nBonus points:\n\n\n* Intimate familiarity of Python/Django or Go and writing low latency, large scale distributed systems.\n\n* Experience working on Kubernetes, AWS, and service discovery or service mesh type systems.\n\n\n\nTechnologies we use:\n\n\n* Python/Django, Go as the main languages and frameworks of choice.
