Educational background in MathematicsHey there! I'm Sabas, a full-stack software engineer who enjoys bringing designs to life and trying to come up with projects I find useful for myself, or friends.

My coding experience comes from educations and side projects. I received an AS degree in Computer Science last year, and Bachelors in Mathematics. As of this February, I decided to use my skills and transition out of banking and customer service and enrolled in the Hack reactor 12-week online bootcamp.

After tests and interviews, I got an acceptance email! In the program, I spent 1000+ hours coding in solo, pair, and team environments. Through this experience, I learned full-stack development in an AGILE environment with JavaScript, React, NodeJS ,Express, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.

Projects built in the program we're meant to mimmic real-world projects along with the relevant technologies. We were pushed to be autonomous engineers that have the skillset to create solutions to real world problems and make an impact. I excited to contribute to a team as an autonomous, collaborative software engineer

My background isn't traditional, it's an experience that's pushed me and has given me the skills to create solutions that make users' lives easier and new ways to make an impact! This is what I love. I am excited to contribute to a team as an autonomous, collaborative full-stack engineer.
