This is a fully remote position for an exciting Social networking startup that is poised to decentralize the future of work. We are talented developers with Blockchain experience. Our goal is to rapidly develop new, scalable technologies to support changing landscape of what it means to work. Due to growth, we are good at Backend Developer that possesses strong experience with cryptography, GoLang, NFT, Web3, Rust. Blockchain experience and/or enthusiasm is great for this role.

Responsibilities:-

1. Core research and development to improve and expand the model and feature set of our closed economic system
2. Infrastructure for smart contracting systems
Systems for verifiable and secure voting built on cutting-edge cryptography
3. Experiments in voting, goods distribution, economic theory and practice
4. Research and drive high-level decisions about protocol implementation, reward systems, and features around them
5. Spec, implement, test, and audit protocol upgrades and additions
Work autonomously & collaboratively
6. Stay in the know on the rapidly evolving blockchain space, and introduce innovative functionality
7. Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, including engineering (internal and external), research, data science, product management, executive leadership, and recruiting
8. Gather and analyze Commonwealth usage statistics to identify and prioritize areas for improvement
9. Be a steward, influencer and evangelist of our platform & community
Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software engineering with a system programming language such as Rust or GoLang
3+ Years of Javascript and/or OOP
Ability to write and test very high quality code
Strong understanding of traditional and emerging cryptographic algorithms
Hands-on experience with a variety of blockchain related technologies and have developed integrations of blockchain solutions
Knowledge about blockchain tech, crypto, and DeFi and have appropriate programming skills to translate business requirements into innovative Web3 solutions
Ability to work with and grow the community aspect of our engineering efforts
Developed and released solutions on the Ethereum Blockchain
Experience with integrating off chain API’s into Web3 and/or hybrid products/projects
Superior communication skills
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
Interest in blockchain and/or Crypto
Desire to work in a fast paced startup
Demonstrated technical leadership within a large engineering organization
Proven ability to design and advocate for a technical roadmap
