Ever since I was a kid I have loved creating art. Like most kids, I enjoyed drawing & painting. When I got to high school my interest turned to pottery. There came a time when those art skills plateaued, so when I discovered graphic design in college it opened up a whole new way to be creative!

Majoring in Mass Communications (Advertising/Broadcasting) at Minnesota State University Moorhead, I gravitated toward design in my advertising classes. After college I worked as a graphic designer at Sign Pro for three years. During my time there, I created signs, graphics, & logos for a variety of area businesses. This was one of my favorite positions, & I still find it gratifying to see my work around town. That job taught me a lot about working with clients from all types of businesses & made me the well-rounded graphic designer I am today. It also made me an expert in juggling many projects & putting out great work with tight deadlines.
