Remote worker in Berlin, Germany with 11+ years of experience - Last seen ago

Since 2010 I make iOS apps with Objective-C and Swift. The most interesting app I worked on is HeliEFB and flies in helicopters around the world. My Computer Science degree, volunteering work and side projects complete my profile.

My strongest skills and how I learned them:
I taught myself iOS app development in Objective-C for my high school project. Someone asked me to make an app and my freelancing career started. While studying I did more iOS projects. Currently, my main language is Swift. In addition, I have hands-on experience with Flutter/Dart and I learn fast to solve challenges with new technologies as well.

Remote experience:
I already worked remotely from several European and Asian countries plus Canada. I know that good communication and project management is the key for successful remote work. In fact, I already had to figure out in volunteering roles how to efficiently work online across continents. For example, I co-organized international conferences for JA Alumni Europe during my time in the European Board. In the working groups of OCEANS Network and ESAA members are based in all continents. And I read the "Remote" book from Basecamp.

Other facts about me:
I'm making an iOS app (https://amicu.app) as my side project to help people improve their social habits. It's used for things like boosting professional networking to calling grandparents regularly.

I like fasting, triathlon and meditation for my off-screen time.

An iOS app filtering a JSON feed made me fly to 60+ countries at almost no cost.

As a volunteer of JA Alumni I gave more than 100 workshops to teach students entrepreneurship.
