Hi, I’m Isuru Wijesooriya, a passionate and motivated Computer Systems Engineer with a strong interest in both software and hardware development. I completed my BSc (Hons) in Computer Systems Engineering from NSBM Green University with a Second Class Upper Division, and I’m currently pursuing my MSc in Information Technology with Data Analytics at the University of the West of Scotland.

I’ve worked as a Systems Engineer at How to Drive Driving School, where I developed and maintained systems for the company and its sub-divisions. I also worked as a Demonstrator at NSBM, helping students with lab sessions, tutorials, and coursework. During my internship at ThermalR Industries, I gained hands-on experience assembling E-bikes and designing power backup systems.

I’m confident working with languages like Java, PHP, C, Kotlin, and JavaScript, and I’ve used tools like MATLAB, AWS, Azure, SolidWorks, and Android Studio in my projects. Some of the projects I’ve worked on include a full-stack event management system, a blockchain-based solution for organic food supply transparency, and even a solar-powered remote-controlled lawn mower.

Alongside my technical background, I’ve developed strong soft skills like leadership, teamwork, and time management. I’ve been a Batch Representative, a Junior Prefect, and a member of the IEEE and Buddhist Society at NSBM.

I’m always excited to take on new challenges and use technology to solve real-world problems.
