My name is Caren Macedo, I am 24 years old and have 4 years of experience in the international trade field. I am currently pursuing an MBA in International Business and working as an Import Analyst. In my current role, I manage three shipping lines, being responsible for coordinating the import process of goods to Rio de Janeiro.

My responsibilities include: opening import processes, issuing and registering Import Declarations (DI) and Import Licenses (LI), reviewing and approving clearance documents (Invoice, Packing List, HAWB, HBL), tracking air and sea shipments, approving CE-Mercante records, preparing import spreadsheets, analyzing ICMS tax exemption, conducting internal and external follow-ups, and liaising with Customs, ports, airports, and SEFAZ (State Department of Finance and Taxation – Brazil). I have experience in both pre-shipment and post-shipment operations and provide support to the operational team.

I am currently improving my English and Spanish skills, and I’m looking for opportunities that allow me to grow professionally while contributing positively to the organization.
