I've worked with almost all viable software languages, operating systems, databases, and frameworks. The languages may be slightly different, but software constructs are timeless. Syntax issues can be fixed in under 10 seconds via Google (I. E. Semicolon line endings or not, ternary syntax, iif stmts, capabilities for stored procedures in X database, etc), but the concepts are the same.
