Since early childhood, I've had a long-standing and amicable relationship with technology, beginning with educational games on the Apple IIc of 1989, and now evolving into a career in Software Development and testing. I laid down the foundation for this career by completing a Masters Degree in Computer Information Technology, with a specialization in Computer Science, at Central Connecticut State University, whereafter I saw a need to sharpen my tools before moving on to constructing my "house." I accomplished this task by enrolling in a coding boot camp, where I learned to use the technologies most employed by companies in the field today. Once equipped with the skills that I needed, I confidently forged ahead to my future.

I am now a Software Development Engineer in Test who specializes in the testing and development of C# and Java-based web applications. Having experience as a Full Stack developer, I can build solutions and perform tests on all levels of the web application architecture to eliminate defects, improve program operability, and augment functionality.

My experience in software development is tempered by my understanding of commerce and the plethora of business skills that I learned through my preceding years completing my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. This curriculum provided me with opportunities to develop my communication skills through the various positions that I've held as a writing tutor, class instructor, or as an officer of the local chapter of the school's business club, giving presentations to panels of judges.

My fondness for language and culture was given free reign, as I worked in parallel on a second Bachelor's Degree in French, wherein I studied French language, culture, and politics, as well as advanced methods in translation; I have also spent a year in France to maximize my exposure to the language and culture. Having completed both degrees, I am now a fluent speaker of French whose penchant for travel and exploration allows for very comfortable experiences in almost any international scenario, domestic and abroad.

My leisure interests include 2d/3d design and animation, drawing, game design, and web-publishing. I also practice Teakwondo, and enjoy outdoor activities such as Hiking, biking, snowboarding and kayaking.
